The big problem here is that it gives Dems an out to allege a sweetheart deal in exchange for exonerating Trump. That will 100% be the play, regardless. If the full files are released and he’s not in them, they will allege the files were doctored. If Maxwell spills the beans & doesn’t name Trump, it will be because she was offered a deal.

There will be corroborating evidence.

Anyone that wanted the “files” released, this is the best you were going to to get. It’s volatile, but it’s momentum.

You think we are all idiots. Got it.

Can you imagine what we think of you?

Step outside of your mindset for a minute.

I’m serious. We have the same devotion you have but Trump is doing what is best for our Nation.

Your side seems to be Hellbent on destroying the United States of America

It’s kinda obvious.

You do realize that you have been played for years about this entire blackmail hoax and you are going to be very disappointed when the truth comes out right?

Don’t believe me? See P-Diddy case

Yet more examples of folks weighing in who clearly don’t have any actual knowledge of how these things work. I will only tell you that it’s certainly not a matter of merely giving some recorded statements in an interview, then they take it at face value and run with it. There’s much more corroboration and verification than that, in fact there’s as much as can be humanly gathered. Then, once it’s determined that there’s no further possible avenues of corroboration/verification, they make a determination as to the weight of the newly gathered evidence, look at it in combination with everything they’ve already got in their possession, and make the final decision as to whether the “new” witness’ “contribution” is going to lead to a reasonable prediction of success.

Now, for the conspiracy theorists out there who don’t care about any of that and have already concluded that a vast conspiracy is afoot, I guess those folks should simply disregard the foregoing.

I think it's actually the opposite. If you have to do it so she'll testify, why would you do it if she had dirt on you? Regardless of any pardon, if she spills the beans on everyone, she's dead anyway. She's just choosing to not die in jail.

These people don't think stuff through. At all. Everything that happened on the island was taped. She's not going to lie about this. She would just go right back to where she came from, for life.

This ginned up outrage over this is pretty incredible to watch. The media have people just by the damn nuthairs.

No one with a brain thinks if she had dirt on Trump that the Biden Doj wouldn’t have already given her a full pardon in exchange for testimony while he was in office.

Cmon man!

Both sides (Ds and Rs) support it because they can raise campaign funds off of her televised testimony.

And I’m sure they’re working on multiple rounds of testimony from different committees as long as they can find an angle.

It’s…all…kabuki…theater.

Can’t wait to get all the emails and spam texts from those clowns.

They’re saying this because they can go back to their constituents later and say, see, we wanted to know.

But they know they will never agree to immunity. Won’t happen. And without that, Maxwell pleads fif.

It is all kabuki theatre. And we will never see any list.
