Miller and Coors benefitting is basically a wash. All these big international companies are just as woke as the next.

Their 1st quarter earnings meeting is later this week.

Doesn’t address more than about two weeks of this but I have a feeling they will severely limit questioning.

What do you mean? Lol

She straight up told you who the core customer was and that they were moving away from it and they she was specifically tasked to do it.

They've also all done some dumb woke campaigns in the past and just luckily not gotten dinged for it. I worry none of these people are going to change their trajectories.

I don’t think you understand the point of this.

We are trying to destroy Bud Light as a lesson to ALL companies.

You think Coors will think long and hard before doing some gay bullshite after this?

Only surprising part of the article is how hard it’s been hit in NYC.

Apparently, there aren't as many hard core liberals in NYC as was thought, or at least who NOW drink the panther piss.....

BL is also a good focus point simply because it was the biggest brand of beer in the US, not because of product quality but because of marketing / image.

People aren’t dropping Nike over this shite because getting a comparable product doesn’t really work for sneakers.

Beer? BL is iced piss and finding an alternative is easy. And if you find something you like better, no reason to go back.

It's such an easy boycott too. All you have to do is buy the Coors Lite or Miller Lite 5 feet away.

Like I said...consumables don't have the same brand loyalty. Too many options. This was a rookie mistake with grave consequences.

Either it was forced on this was the stupidest decision possibly ever by a corporation.

Sucks for Mockler Bev. here in BR, but I'm enjoying the wokeism pushback.

Hardcore Libs in NYC drink White Claw, micro-brews, or actual piss, not iced imitation piss.

Saw the disaster movie "Greenland" with Gerard Butler a couple of nights ago. In one scene, he goes to a convenience store and among the things he needs to get is a six pack of Bud Light.

I nearly spit out my drink.

I'm sure BL paid to have that line of dialogue inserted by the famous manly action guy.

This is correct. Coors light has done it as well, but not to point of putting a transsexual as the marketing focus.

Yeungling is now my beer.

It wasn't the can that did the damage, it was the response or lack there of that did the damage. They are sunk.

But I’m going to throw cold water on the “she didn’t know the BL customer” narrative.

Yes she did. She identified the customer base very clearly and articulately, albeit in her own dismissive terms and attitude

Yeah, that quote that you are rightly critiquing is actually a different species of the same kind of idiocy that produced the Bud Light bungle. It's a billion dollar brand with 40 years of data points. The idea that anyone at InBev didn't know who the customer was is pure propaganda. In fact, we could pull 40 people off the street at complete random and every single one of them could articulate who the Bud Light customer is. The management is all in on this "we didn't know" messaging, and no one is buying it at all. I wonder how long they'll continue to pretend the we had no idea message is helping.

The only thing that can save BL (and AB in general) would be the board of directors firing the entire management staff. President\ceo and all the other major directors. GONE.

Replace with new people and run ads apologizing. Ads that are pro hetro.

The alphabet people will bitch and complain but if AB held true many former customers wound return.

But it will never happen.

It seems like the obvious solution has been lost on everybody at Budweiser:

MAKE BEER THAT TASTES GOOD

yes but now they dont have the customer base to try it and promote it. so they are in the position of being an unknown and unliked brand with a bad rep and bad social stigma attached to be seen drinking it.

any recovery from this will be 5+ years out at a minimum before anyone forgets to care about the stigma of choosing it. they really have screwed the pooch on this and could have mitigated the long term effects of their mistake if they had the balls to come out immediately with an apology and admitted to it was a mistake to try and relabel themselves as the tranny beer. they succeeded in that at least, they will forever be tranny beer now.

It’s damn insulting. Don’t believe your lying eyes.

Just own it, and move on but don’t add insult to injury. They never learn.

For me, it's not about finding another beer brand that has never supported a group or cause that I disagree with cause that's not possible.

It's about, the fact that BL decided to partner with a dude in woman face to recognize that he's spent the last 365 days pretending to be a woman. Woman face is the same thing as black face.

Alissa Heinerschied defined her brand of Bud Light as the “fraternity/out of touch humor” brand amid young people. Welp...she was 100% successful at redefining the BL brand.

I've consumed Bud Light, Mich Light, Busch Light and Mich Ultra since 1987. I've now moved onto Yuengling Flight and have no intention of returning to AB products.
