You apparently think a company can do whatever it wants, and then fire the people responsible and everyone should just move on, with no repercussions.
This is an interesting statement, no? I mean, when someone screws up, they should be fired. One thing companies don't do is, fire people for following orders.

Mkay... So I'm not an advertising guru. But whoever made that should be fired. That was dumb as hell.
Downright stupid even.

InBev might as well jettison the brand. BL’s former consumers aren’t coming back while younger consumers (gen z & millennials) are buying products from microbreweries/craft-brewers in favor of those offerings from mass produced breweries.

Bud Light, through complete stupidity, erased billions in market share and decades of brand loyalty.
One person, two at most. Both gone. "Bud Light" didn't do this. The market reaction just shows how dumb people are. Oh the outrage!

Wow. So smug, and so ignorant at the same time.
BL lost millions in the first couple of weeks. Distributors were going broke. AB canceled contracts with shippers, bottlers, and other companies.
BL became the definition of FAFO for many months. They became the standard for boycott. Or do you not remember the phrase "The Bud Light treatment."?
Go drink your piss beer and pass out. You're drunk.

Bud light does not get it.

Once your brand becomes something that beer drinkers use as a slur to call each other “girly” or “gay”…there is no coming back.

IF they go full MAGA and help out the deep state and kick some liberal asses around the country as the proud sponsor of the Proud Boys, they may have a shot.

Who mandated? Her woke college professors? Her own personal ideology?
Don't forget, that's woke ideology right there. Everything MUST be woke, or it must be broke.

Bud Light mandated it when she was hired. They tried to distance themselves from her when it backfired, but it was 100% what she was hired to do.

AB also owns Modelo.

I don't think most consumers do that much research, but it proves that marketing works (one way or another).

Modelo costs a little bit more than Bood Yite; maybe this was all a brilliant plan to move the Vatos to a slightly more expensive beer.

How do we know this? Who has openly admitted it?
And did that mandate require that she bring woke DEI into the advertising?

I'm not trying to side with AB on this one, I'd actually like to strengthen the case against them.

She was promoted to VP of marketing in July 2022 and did an interview in March 2023 stating that she brought on to change the culture of Bud Light The Mulvaney stuff was April 1 2023.

She gave the interview as the VP of marketing. I quoted her words. What more do you want? She specifically said she was hired to change the culture and make it “more inclusive.” She is the VP of marketing which is their mouthpiece. If she says she was hired to change the culture then we should believe that is what she was hired for.

She wasn’t fired after the debacle and was allowed to take a leave of absence. I’m fact, months later ABInbev came out and specifically said she wasn’t fired. Newsweek.

You already took their side, why can't you take ours? You can't because you still believe in their side.

Nope. That’s not why. They don’t believe all that nonsense. The problem for Bud Lite started because they were complacent. An ordinary hire, that was made in order to try capturing some of the freak market to bolt onto the existing one, went rogue and made the tranny commercial that sunk the brand. That got their attention, and they have been trying to manage their way out of this ever since.

Every move they make now is carefully considered. If they come out and blast trannies they will suffer a huge attack from leftists, and they know that the right wing will not suddenly come back on board. But if they could rewind the clock they would never hire that nincompoop.

I loved the "down here" part...like he's in the lowest pit of hell.
