I trust the Trump-appointed US Attorney in Massachusetts. So, I 100% accept that he shot the MIT professor whom he knew before. Based on that I guess I have to accept that he was the Rhode Island shooter also.

There’s no excuse for the lack of cameras or security. I’m not young and when I was in grade school, cameras caught me and a girl kissing at the end of the hallway and got called to the office.

What a huge difference in press conferences. The Mass. AG just answered questions clearly and coherently. No bullshite speaking in Spanish, no stupid deaf interpreter, no shuffling 50 people in and out to answer questions, no pontificating about Twitter rumors, etc.

I don't quite grasp what the Brown thing was all about. Maybe a grudge against the university if my above theory is correct, but as for the students?
A question about the victim, the one Republican chick... was she active in "free speech" debates? Seems like she could have been, just based on her position. Maybe she was just targeted like Kirk, and this was just a guy who went off and lashed out everywhere? Got his revenge in along the way?

Not to be that guy, but Leah Foley is actually the Trump-appointed US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts. For fun, I looked up the Democrat-elected Attorney General of Massachusetts. Shockingly, she is not hideous looking.

If it's me I'm looking over every student at the university to consider any ties to the shooter. But then again it's Rhode Island, and you have 18 people at the presser like it's the fricking Wu-Tang Clan reunion.

Someone mentioned the classroom he shot up was his old physics classroom, probably taught in there as a TA while pursuing his PhD.
And it was clear from the earlier press conferences that this particular area of the university was an older building (age of the building was an excuse for lack of camera footage).
Thats the best explanation I've heard in regards to shooting up the classroom.
Otherwise, Im sure we'll know quite soon why he killed the MIT professor. Probably an old grudge from way back.

Sounds like her getting shot was more just about simply being in THAT particular classroom and nothing more.
This guy hadnt been on Brown's campus in over 20 years.

Same thing I was thinking. If he was jealous of someone that was in that classroom with him all that time ago, just going back there for "whoever" seems it would be justified in his mind.
