Yes. The amputation was done. Supposedly he had to be resuscitated early on which likely complicated things. Wish him the best.

He was on ECMO. My money is on ischemia of the cannulated limb.

This place is becoming more pathetic by the hour. The guy has a young child and his odds of making it right now aren’t very good.
He was so sick he had to be placed on ECMO. A machine designed to bypass your lungs and do the work of oxygenation because your lungs can’t function. This is likely what caused the ischemia to his leg.
Did people really read this headline and think someone with a blood clot was being diagnosed with COVID after the fact?
Y’all really need to re-evaluate yourselves and think about who are the sheep here.

They are scared financially, which is understandable, and their means of dealing with it is to minimize the disease and rail against the methods employed to deal with it. Shutdowns, morbidity and mortality will all be targets.
