Maybe he should have kept himself in better shape.
41 years old and having the breathing capacity of an old man. The downside of being an "actor" and sitting on your arse all day, probably eating designer ice cream all day.

Squeeze off a garden hose. Look what happens to your sprinkler attachment. And what happens to the bushes watered by that sprinkler? That happened to his leg.
Nice analogy...
Pressers are awesome when you still have circulation in your extremities..
Didn’t read the entire thread, sounds like the dude got septic.. He’s lucky he only lost a limb and not his life..

This is not a political issue. Its just medicine.
Christ.
This is most of the issue with this virus. Non medical folks trying to decipher medical information and totally misinterpreting it.....everybody is an expert now in everything from virology to sepsis...and very few of them have a fricking clue...
Just listen to folks go on about saving hospice and nursing home patients at any cost when they don't realize just how compromised and utterly miserable most of these patients are. These are the same idiots who tell the doctor to put a feeding tube in granny so she can live long enough to get another bed sore. But, God bless them, they have a warm hand to hold while she suffers.

You're only looking at the outside...the superficial.
His weakness was much deeper...a core weakness you often find in liberal "Hollywood" types.

This is a sad situation.
Young guy. Poor outcome. Cv19 usually doesn't act this way.
But it can. It can go bad for anyone. We don't need to say anything more than this is a really sad situation.
It doesn't change the facts. We either slowly open up the economy or the entire economy collapses.
People are going to die. But the choice is either that or have an economic collapse the likes the world hasn't seen.
So at some point we are going to have to open things up. Let's be careful out there and let's always remember this is China's fault.
frick China. The fact that they are profiting off of this to a degree just by being destroyed less than others makes my blood boil.
