It would be totally funny if it wasn’t so sad.

Could you imagine what would happen here if the government allowed the police to arrest Southerners for using our air conditioners in the summer? There wouldn’t be a police station or government building left in the Southeastern United States. The revolt that would happen would make the Revolutionary War and Civil War look like reenactments

We're going through what I call 'Texas temperatures' at the moment, because it's like 40 degrees centigrade. That's, you know, 110 plus Fahrenheit

40C is 104F in case no one has mentioned it already.

That’s also a ridiculous comment, you are safer in almost every part of the uk than you are in America…it makes me laugh that you people here think it’s unsafe in the UK when you walk around towns and cities in the US where the murder rate and violent crime rate is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE higher than almost all of the UK…but again - continue to let the media scare you of everything.

I’m sure the rationale is that floors 1-7 are shaded by other buildings. But shouldn’t the setpoints for the floors above be maintained at the average temperature in floor 1-7? That way everyone would be treated the same.

It’s about killing off old people just like covid and its accompanying protocols.

If covid was about killing off old people why the shutdowns and forced social distancing? It was very much the opposite of that. For the first time in history societies punished the young people to help the old people.

Hahahahahahahahaha. I get it. When I was growing up, we had an old window unit that wouldn’t work most of the time. I remember nights trying to sleep in the heat and humidity of an Alabama summer.

But, when it would work, my folks wouldn’t cut it on until bedtime. Feeling that cold air coming down the hall was absolutely glorious!

Take a look at the building, Pernod. While I appreciate your optimism that they wouldn’t knowingly treat the workers on the lower floors differently, this was done purposely to show who is important- who is a part of the elite, ruling class, and who is a serf.
