I'm actually somewhat surprised by this. Their politicians are spineless. A move like this means they will have to take a stance. That is a bold move in mordern day Britain.

The Brits have CCTV on every corner, hate speech laws that criminalize offensive speech, a criminal justice system that puts a man in prison for filming about Muslim child rape gangs and vast swaths of London, Luton, Leicester, Bradford and Birmingham that are more similar to Pakistan or Bangladesh than England. Why should anyone be shocked that their politicians blatantly ignore the will of the public?
