International alarm grows after a GB News report alleges Iran is deploying toxic chemical substances against protesters.
quote:Former MP Bill Rammell warns of 'delayed deaths' and severe human rights violations as the death toll in the crackdown reportedly exceeds 12,000.
The claim has not been verified by independent sources but has fueled calls for global intervention amid Iran's brutal crackdown.

The little news coming out of Iran from people who randomly gain internet access is very bleak. It would not shock me at all for this to be true.

Send in Delta. Bring along a gay and a video camera. Film the ayatollah doing gay stuff. Blackmail him to step down.

Yeah. But why are the bri-ish who are beating people for protesting against the eyetolla's regime all of a sudden turned on their duffles against him?

Horrific video footage is trickling out of Iran, showing us that what we feared was true, and was even worse than we suspected. And when the internet blackout ends, we will know even more about the atrocities committed.

Unfortunately there is historical precedence for this type action.
Saddam Hussein's regime orchestrated systematic chemical weapons attacks against the Kurdish population in northern Iraq during the late 1980s. The most notorious of these attacks occurred on March 16, 1988, in the town of Halabja, where an estimated 5,000 civilians—mostly women, children, and the elderly—were killed by a mix of mustard gas and nerve agents.
These dictators have zero regard for human life and will do absolutely anything to remain in power. Iran and Iraq two peas in a pod when it comes to what atrocities their leaders are willing to subject on their own people. Our fore fathers gave us the second amendment to protect the people from this type of barbarism.

All true, but so is this: If the US affects regime change in Iran one of two things will transpire.
1. Iran will descend into warlord factionalism that will destabilize the ME and be worse than the status quo ante, or…
2. We will put an authoritarian in place who will brutally suppress dessent.
