Never understood why people call it the left lane. In racing you have the outside and inside lane. The faster cars stay to the outside lane. Only the American highway system could get it backwards.

1) The exits are on the right side of the interstate.
2) Cars taking the exits generally slow down as they are approaching their destination
3) Merging lanes are also on eth right side.
4) Cars entering the highway from the right are typically not going as fast as cars already on the highway
5) The left lane is away from exiting or merging traffic and allows drivers already in the hwy to drive (mostly) unimpeded by the aforementioned traffic
6) (Bonus) The left lane is not the "fast" lane. It is the "passing" lane. If you ain't actively passing another vehicle, move your arse over! There is always going to be someone who is driving faster than you and would probably like to get by. Don't be an a-hole by playing "hovercraft" with the car that you should be passing. Pass him, then move over and let the guy behind you get past.

Most interstates are also two lanes either direction. And when your highway is smaller (a literal two-lane), you use the ‘left lane’ to pass slower cars when you have an opportunity

I was curious, and after reading and searching studies on Job 41:34, I don't think this meme is accurately representing that verse at all. Nothing against you sharing it, but the one who made it may have been using deception as a tool, which itself creates quite an irony here.
That said, I'm open to correction.

The context is God asking Job about the leviathan, not Satan.

I’d be forever grateful if someone could add a classic salt shaker to this meme. Either side of the plate is fine. TIA.

We are behind you, flicking our headlights trying to get you to into the right lane, but you don't use your mirrors either.

LOL…I never impede traffic, I just rarely encounter someone with their cruise set higher than mine. I’m the guy that will speed up when passing someone so they don’t get boxed in behind a slower car ahead of them in the right lane. There are certain people that I will force to pass me on the right, but that’s only because I know for a goddamn fact that I’ll be passing them again in a mile or two. They seem to speed up and slow down based on the tempo of the song they’re listening to and have never discovered the little thing called a cruise control. You know who I’m referring to.

Bless you sir. This is an advanced driving etiquette and I was starting to think I was only person who followed it.
