Correct me if I am wrong. For the context to be correct it should have read. The evolution into 1984 continues, but his choice to use devolution is quite interesting.

I cannot upvote you enough. The dept of education NEEDS to be eliminated. Public schools were much better in the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. The Dept of Ed was created in the late 1970s and it’s been downhill ever since.
