Washington post is reporting Iraq government is expecting attacks on US embassy in Iraq by ground forces and Iraq military is moving to protect it
Iraq?
I was told by a big MAGA supporter yesterday the war did great things for Iraq and it's modernized now

Iran has proxy militias in Iraq. I assume that’s who the Iraq military is moving to protect our embassy against

The lack of congressional approval is disturbing and shameful.

To be clear - there is an international mandate for this. Iran signed up saying they would not pursue a bomb.
As long as this doesn’t become a longer mess involving regime change - this was a successful strike and will put fear into countries around the world with deep underground facilities.

Iraq also has a lot of Iraqis who fricking hate the US after, you know, the war in Iraq? And then our response to ISIS, etc.

When was the last time that was even a thing?
Congress has basically voted themselves out of foreign policy responsibility.
On purpose

I’m just reporting what’s coming out baw. Until anything actually happens this should all be considered fog of war other than the fact that the sights we struck were successful

Speculation that two of the bombs went down a ventilation shaft. That’s some Luke Skywalker shite.

And what is to prevent them returning to the 'death by a thousand cuts' approach that served them well up until 2022? The regime isn't popular, but attacks against them seem to buttress their base.

Here's the entire post you're attempting to quote. You mistakenly missed a few pieces. Thanks for the opportunity to clarify and repost..
No. And no one declared war in Desert Storm. No one declared war in Afghanistan. No one declared war in the Iraqi invasion.
Yet we had war.
