The Democrats must really not like it when ICE is in the airports.

No masks, smiling faces, friendly interactions and the lines move faster.

They were about to lose a major talking point.

Trump's EO forced this.

ICE getting great publicity was helpful. Especially when one agent saved a choking child at the airport.

Probably had as much to do with the Dems folding as the EO

The Dems wanted reforms. We tried to work with them on reforms. They ended up getting no reforms

The fact that these RINO pussies always use the left's language, in this case "reforms", shows that they are part of the Uniparty.

Floridafan813 sure has a bad case of TDS.
Wow, I mean she's just fit to be tied with her anger issues toward the greatest president we've ever had. I'd be willing to bet she's a big, ugly woman with blue hair and she's confused on her gender status. You know, the kind of freaks we see at the protests all the time.
Get some professional help, there girl!

Had he been just protesting, he'd be alive.

Interfering in LEGAL police actions, while armed, resisting, and then reaching for your weapon will get you unalived every time.
He was not protesting.

Nobody has sympathy for liars

More like RIP Bull Connor, who did some terrible things that were horribly wrong but Bull, we could use you and your boys today.

The people you mistreated in your day were peaceful demonstrators but this bunch of traitors? They have it coming.

Trump outflanked them (again) with the executive order to pay TSA. 8D chess.

They aren’t funding ICE and parts of CBP in this bill.

The speedy agreement was surprising given that Democrats had on several occasions this month requested unanimous consent on the Senate floor to fund TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard and CISA with Republicans objecting each time.

Thune told reporters Friday morning that Republicans rejected those earlier efforts to fund DHS in pieces because they were hoping for a deal to fund the entire department.

But Thune said they abandoned that effort and “pivoted” to a new strategy when it became clear that Democrats would not accept the reforms Republicans were willing to make to ICE in exchange for passing the entire Homeland Security appropriations bill.

Semi, but they will push ICE funding through via reconciliation.

That is what they floated on Sunday and looks to be the case.

And to show you how fricking slimey those fricks are... the ONLY reason they hurried and passed it is because their 2 week recess starts today.

They didn't want to stay around and work.

If I was a GOP Congressman I would vote against it until they pass the SAFE Act.

These airport lines are the types of things that lose elections.

If the Dems support a clean bill and the GOP does not, going to be an issue.

Mass deportations are over per the GOP strategy meeting last month.

The repubs should immediately introduce legislation, like post-October with ATC, that TSA is exempt from shutdown restrictions.

The travel industry is too big and important to the economy to allow politicians to use to get their way.
