People make hypotheses based on their knowledge and relevant circumstance.
i have been wondering for more than a decade now about when huge Catholic edifices such as this would be attacked. By Muslim jihadists. I would not at all be surprised if that is what happened here, but I would no assert that as the cause.
Evidence is needed. We are under no requirement to stymie our imaginations at this point - we are not in positions of authority - we have no responsibility for the outcome.
Meanwhile - you can sit there and try to posit that it was a white nationalist wearing a MAGA hat all day long to balance out all the negativity from the other side.

In my heart of hearts, this is more egregious than 9-11. If terrorist-related, this strikes very, very deep. The only thing worse would be St. Peter's. This is like a Dan Brown novel.

It will certainly be a historically tragic loss of PROPERTY (and if terrorism, it's certainly VERY VERY egregious), but unless there are 3,000 people burning to death inside, I'm going to have to disagree.
