I would not be sad if something very unpleasant happened to him.

They've given him an anal probe since 2016 and spied on him. Yet still nothing has been filed. They waited for his announcement and likely tried to strong arm him into not running

You’ve completely missed the point. Do you honestly want to live in a country where the party in power has a free hand to use the apparatus of state to oppress their chief political opposition? This isn’t just about Donald Trump. It’s about whether or not we remain a constitutional republic or a banana republic.

Investigation Coordinator in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague, Netherlands. In that capacity, he supervised sensitive investigations of foreign government officials and militia for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. Mr. Smith joined the ICC from the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York.

So what is your point?

My point is you claim government investigations should be independent and non-partisan yet the investigation into the worst attack on our country since 9/11 and Pearl Harbor “was an entirely-partisan undertaking”. You completely contradicted yourself and look like a hypocritical fool. Such is the Democrat way I guess.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland announced today the appointment of former career Justice Department prosecutor and former chief prosecutor for the special court in The Hague, Jack Smith, to serve as Special Counsel to oversee two ongoing criminal investigations. The first is the investigation, as described in court filings in the District of Columbia, into whether any person or entity unlawfully interfered with the transfer of power following the 2020 presidential election or the certification of the Electoral College vote held on or about January 6, 2021. The second is the ongoing investigation involving classified documents and other presidential records, as well as the possible obstruction of that investigation, referenced and described in court filings submitted in a pending matter in the Southern District of Florida.

One is focused on whether Trump broke the law and obstructed justice in connection with his removal of hundreds of documents from the White House, which were shipped to his residence at Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The other probe is related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot by a mob of Trump supporters.

The first one has already been debunked.

The second has already been investigated to death by the committee who found nothing.

But by all means, dump millions more dollars into another years long investigation.

The wording is interesting.

They are saying “if anyone attempted to interfere with the transfer of power or certification of the election”.

That’s a very open and subjective statement, and probably not difficult to show.
