My CBS affiliate is still saying it was off campus. Anyone with a decent news link?

Suspect was being pursued by USBP crashed his truck into a drainage ditch, ran into school with pistol and started shooting.

wait, this is your response to this headline?

Tone does not transfer well.

My response is that no matter how many children get shot up in our schools (and it appears 14 died in that Texas school today), half this country will scream from the rooftops about their right to own a god damned arsenal of military-grade weapons.

And so, tough shite, no matter how many kids get slaughtered. We aren't going to do a damned thing about it.

At least 14 students were killed and one teacher is dead after an "active shooter" incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, Gov. Greg Abbott said.

Just take a minute and remember the above is what matters. These families have been shattered as had that community. Donate blood if you are nearby and pray. People have lost their minds and souls. This is the act of an evil man.

Why do you want to disarm lawful gun owners and leave them defenseless against criminals?

Gun control doesn’t do this shite, guns should never be in a school zone or in a school to begin with. Why do kids have to live their lives in fear every time they go into school

Do you have brain damage? Establishing schools as "Gun Free Zones" makes them targets of opportunity for sick bastards like this.

My comments are addressing that having a gun that is inherently accessible (because it would have to be in order for using it to be an option) in a room with 20 kids is probably not going to end up being the solution. There are way too many ways that kids end up fricking with it.
This shooting, like all school shootings originated outside of the school. That's where the problems need to be addressed. Unfortunately, no one has an appetite to take better care of sick disaffected kids. They just want to ban guns.

Fella we disagree. My answer is guns in classrooms. If they go to classrooms, that's where the defense needs to be.

If the teacher would like to carry they should have unique requirements and privileges to do so. Parents should be made aware and remove their kid or send an apple. Either way these shootings need to end with the perp taking the room temperature challenge at the outset.

14 kids dead is a reason to reverse gun control in areas. How much time did he have cruising around to get this many victims?

Yep. I will not surrender a single inch of my rights just because a whacko 18 y/o did something horrific.

I don’t even own a gun. But, I’ll not back up an inch because of homicidal assholes.

Here's a hint.... it's not those people that are shooting up the schools. Taking guns away from those people won't do any good. And until you can foretell which people will shoot up schools, you're wasting your time.

I want to get rid of the military-grade weaponry (of which I have one), and I want firearm owners to have to jump through at least as many hurdles as drivers.

Or fine, frick it, just let kids keep dying while they're studying their multiplication tables.

I have several of those evil weapons and they have never EVER shot at or even have been aimed at another human.

I have taken deer and hogs and I enjoy shooting. Is that a problem with you? Because you seem to be the one that is not happy until unless everyone is as miserable as you.

Evil is as evil does. SUV's mowing people down during a parade, swords and axes chopping people up? Those are ok with you because I don't see you calling for SUV control or bladed weapons control. Why guns?

Guns aren't the issue here. What caused this guy to be so heartless that he could murder 14 children and a teacher? Do something about that it this will stop.

These aren't the ones shooting ding dong. They follow laws. You fixate on the wrong aspects.

The Buffalo shooter said that was exactly why he chose the target he did.

Dems would make the whole country a gun free zone, so we can all get brutalized by criminals or arrested/sued if we do use a firearm to defend ourselves.
