Amazing that Priebus was too dumb to see the writing on the wall when his subordinate pretty much called him a traitor on national TV and didn't immediately resign to preserve a small shred of dignity.

if they suck, they suck. why do we want to promote this fiction that the stability of a policy position matters if they're ineffective at crafting policy? i mean frick it's not like Congress is getting anything done right now anyway

Well, another day, another drama queen eruption. We will just have to wait and see if the good General brings some stability to the White House.
My personal prediction is that he won't last. The last solid military appointment, McMaster, seems to have already been marginalized. Trump doesn't seem to like a steady ship.
