Because there is an order to the universe.
And to think we're barely six months in

This has to be the democratic party's wet dream.
Reince was one of the only ones with influence in congress.
GOP will attack/stall trump now.
Midterms will be brutal

Trump projects quite a bit.

I swear I'm living in an Orwell novel. /r/politics is loving this turn of events because it shows how the Trump administration is imploding. Trump supporters say it's great because it proves Trump is draining the swamp.

Reince had zero influence in congress.

Are you kidding me?
One of the most effective rnc chairman ever..
First ever to be elected three times, responsible for the GOP strategy shift from his autopsy, responsible for massive change in senate and house seat to republicans and the list goes on

That is incredible. Never seen someone contradict his own statements to this degree before.

Now we've gotta go through the whole process of appointing a new Director of Homeland Security?
Nothing like wasting even more of the Senate's time.

He may have been an effective RNC Chairman but that doesn't mean he's been effective in his role as CoS. What did he get accomplished? He's been a lame duck.
But I highly recommend the book "The Gatekeepers" by Chris Whipple. Damn good. I think you'd enjoy it

The first in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the White House Chiefs of Staff, whose actions—and inactions—have defined the course of our country.
What do Dick Cheney and Rahm Emanuel have in common? Aside from polarizing personalities, both served as chief of staff to the president of the United States—as did Donald Rumsfeld, Leon Panetta, and a relative handful of others. The chiefs of staff, often referred to as “the gatekeepers,” wield tremendous power in Washington and beyond; they decide who is allowed to see the president, negotiate with Congress to push POTUS’s agenda, and—most crucially—enjoy unparalleled access to the leader of the free world. Each chief can make or break an administration, and each president reveals himself by the chief he picks.
Through extensive, intimate interviews with all seventeen living chiefs and two former presidents, award-winning journalist and producer Chris Whipple pulls back the curtain on this unique fraternity. In doing so, he revises our understanding of presidential history, showing us how James Baker’s expert managing of the White House, the press, and Capitol Hill paved the way for the Reagan Revolution—and, conversely, how Watergate, the Iraq War, and even the bungled Obamacare rollout might have been prevented by a more effective chief.
Filled with shrewd analysis and never-before-reported details, The Gatekeepers offers an essential portrait of the toughest job in Washington.

don't see how people are cheering any of this. D.C. as a whole is a royal mess, and that people feel Trump is the only one who has it together is laughable.
Hes not perfect but he has a better shot than our joke of a congress

Didn't read the thread, but Reince was the dinner leaker. That was the test, as I said yesterday.

Link? You talking about the Comey dinner or something else?
Posted on 7/28/17 at 8:11 pm to Sentrius
I said the leaker was the one who leaked the Hannity dinner and that one of the named attendees was "probably" not actually there. Snuffed out like a rat.

What makes it so special whether anyone knew about it?
