“Do you know how much it costs to make that insulin drug for diabetes? … It was invented by a man who did not patent it because he wanted it available for everyone. I spoke to him, OK?” Biden claimed.
Dr. Frederick Banting and professor John James Richard Macleod were awarded the Nobel Prize in medicine in 1923 for their 1921 discovery of insulin. Banting died in 1941 and Macleod in 1935. Biden was born in 1942.

Of course, and it was right before (or maybe after) he was leading Neil Kinnock’s life, too. Dementia isn’t an excuse. He’s been making it all up and stealing money for decades and everybody in D.C. knows it. The sad thing is that not only did anyone call him out on it in the last 20 years, but he’s been elected Vice-President and then President of the United States. It’s actually amazing that someone as notoriously venal and dim as this guy reached the pinnacle of power in our republic. You have all seen numerous Hollywood movies over the years where the entrenched politician is portrayed as a braying jackass (usually as a Republican in film). Well, that is Brandon in real life. And, now he doesn’t even know where he is anymore. My $.02.
