There’s a book called How to Lie with Statistics…
Tom Homan is hoping the public misses the real nuance of border enforcement. He touts targeted ops with no theatre as success.
That lack of theatre is exactly why border crossing attempts are surging and the CBP Home app sits unused.
GASLIGHTING!!!!!
Under Operation at Large and we presented bold visible pressure, and we saw over 2 million self-deportations early on.
So how many are self-deporting now?
CBP Home has only tens of thousands verified.
Deterrence demands visible strength.
America First needs both targeting and visible impact.
Mass deportations is where it is at, folks.
We haven’t seen true mass deportations yet…….

Bovino sounds like he's just bitter
We don't need theater to deport people. The claim about the number of self deportations going down is a bit silly. Maybe the initial mass self deportation was the bulk of those that were willing to do that in the first place.
The theater is what caused public backlash and riots. You can deport people just as efficiently without the theater.

Because the ones who willingly wanted to leave already did? He just sounds butt hurt. Homan is great.

It sounds like Homan has a numbers strategy that’s less politically harmful and possibly ends with more illegals going home without the media spectacle. I’m just guessing.

I like Homan and want as many low IQ Illegal Immigrants deported as possible but the way he and others capitulated to the wackos in Minnesota was extremely weak. They essentially ran him out of town.

mass self deportation
This is how you get rid of the vast majority of them. Make it extremely uncomfortable for Illegal Immigrants to stay here. Make it impossible for them to abuse all the social safety nets. Unfortunately groups like Catholic and Methodist NGO’s make life very comfortable here for Illegals giving them or helping them with food, clothing, and shelter.

They should all be targeted and subsequently charged and their 501 yanked while additionally being charged with aiding and abetting as well as terrorism.

I agree with all of this. People like the idea of deportations but the visual of how it’s accomplished can be bad PR
Just do it quietly without incident

You’re not wrong here. These shifting of illegals is strictly about money to these NGO’s and its leadership. If it was about helping people then they would be helping these people at their home countries where it would be cheaper, not having women raped or people used in human trafficking. They wouldn’t need to leave their regions away from their extended families and cultures to face uncertainties. This is all about money

This and this. I think most Americans view illegals through their own eyes. Many of you have lived in the same place your whole life, have a house, career, family.
They have a "job", a note on the F150, a big screen TV on payments, and two grand stuffed under the bed. They risk getting stopped on the road or at the job, and losing all that......better just pack up the truck and head back to Mexico.

If we are truly committed to debanking illegals, numbers should improve, without theatre.

Yes
But considering how badly Bovino fricked up in MN, how he fricked up, and how it was basically immediately fixed when Homan replaced him in MN, we can see how big of a fricking idiot Bovino is.

Which is why they should have always focused efforts on maximizing deportations and operations in friendly red areas.

And stop the check cashing outlets from places like Walmart

You do if you want illegals so paranoid and scared they get the frick out.
They need to be debanked and cut off from every single convenience that allows them to remain.
Remittances taxed at 100%.
Require every CDL holder to confirm US citizenship within 10 business days or it is automatically suspended.
Announce that in 10 business days, there will be sweeping enforcement raids on businesses and if illegals are found working there, all management and ownership will be arrested.
Announce that if there is evidence of a single illegal voting in a federal election, the Secretary of State of that state will be arrested and prosecuted.
Increase the self-deportation bounty to $10k per head. Mom, dad and their three anchors could roll back home with a cool $50k.
Easily 5 million gone by end of the year.

There are no incidents. The only incidents occur when democrats try to hit agents with their cars.

Bovino sounds to me like a man who is passionate in his convictions on this issue and he doesn't think we are doing nearly enough to address this issue effectively and I totally agree with him.

Did you miss the riots? The media coverage? The death?
All that damage done to the admin's deportation efforts nationally as a result?
