So, you wait for the weapon when a suspect has resisted and reentered the vehicle? That is loads of stupid, sorry...

But obviously the cops shot at the black part of him.

Funny how the media always list him as "black" man shot by police when the guy was in fact biracial. He was just as much white as he was black but the media has their agenda. Unfortunate incident, that the female officer was panicked and had no business being a cop in the first place. It was obviously a mistake that costed another human their life but the audio backs up the claim that it was a mistake on her part. On the other hand, when will people realize that its just not worth it to fight and flee the police.

Actually, this highlights one of the issues with having female cops, soldiers, and other professionals who come across males who are inherently bigger and stronger than they are. For years, they’ve been lowering the physical standards for women. This kind of scenario is exactly what the lower standards could lead to.

My point is that he should have simply complied with lawful orders and the opportunity for her to pull the wrong item never would have existed.

Your point is also correct though.

How do you mistake your pistol for a taser?

She's def a racist and shot him because he was black, just like she's done every time she arrests a black

Seems we have a resisting arrest problem not a police officers shooting people problem.

Guy gets pulled over because of outstanding gun charges. Gets shot resisting arrest for those charges. And the people pushing more and more "gun legislation" are falling over themselves to condemn the poor woman charged with enforcing the EXISTING gun legislation.

Stupid kid plays stupid game with stupid cop and wins a stupid prize. Hood rats win a new pair of Nikes and a bottle of Cerrac. Family wins a large settlement. Honk.

This shite is going to continue to happen until black people teach their children to comply with law enforcement.

I’m guessing it’s fairly easy when a guy being taken into custody decides to re enter a vehicle that could easily have a weapon in it.

Are there cars hard to have a weapon in?

I hope the measure of a ‘good shoot’ isn’t “well I shot him cause he coulda had a weapon”

No you don't wait for a weapon, if either officer had seen a weapon and called it out you would immediately go to deadly force. In this situation you had 3 officers and one could clearly deploy the tazer. If you just draw your weapon they would not have been able to stop him from driving away. You just can't shoot someone w/o the presence of that threat (weapon) or officer in danger of being struck by vehicle/pulled away while being partially in vehicle.

He fricked up by resisting. Period.

She fricked up by using the wrong equipment (e.g. service pistol versus taser). She absolutely should be held accountable for that.

Exactly. This is the fundamental problem with women on the police force. Police work ultimately means forcing compliance from the non-compliant, and this often comes down to physical force. If you are a dainty middle aged woman demanding a 300lb buck to lay down and he just laughs you off, what is your move? Weapons. Ironically, it makes law enforcement more lethal to have women.

That fat cop in Nashville took a bullet trying to taze a fat black lady who he literally chased around her car, tazed twice, before she pulled a gun and shot him. He killed her with the one shot he got off, but she managed to put the car in gear and run it into the hedges on the other side of the parking lot.

Tazers are not sufficient for stopping this kind of threat.
