Black social media influencer from Florida attacks white veteran

A so-called "digital creator" based in Florida recently filmed himself attacking a veteran who was sitting on the ground, claiming that the victim was "on jury selection" for the Karmelo Anthony trial. Anthony, 19, was convicted of murder on Tuesday and sentenced to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.

The creator, who goes by the name "Combak Kidboe" on social media, filmed himself biking up and stopping alongside two people at the side of the road. He said, "Hey, wasn’t he on jury selection?" before hitting the seated man in the face.

A woman who was with the man said, "No, he wasn’t, seriously, no he wasn’t." The woman added, "he’s a vet, dude."

The creator replied, "he was on jury selection," and said once getting back on his bicycle, "You’re gonna die." He kept accusing the man of being on the jury, with the man and the woman saying he was not. After biking down the road away from the pair some, he shouted back, "You was on jury selection … for Karmelo Anthony?" He added, "Not for Karmelo Anthony? Oh, alright my B."

The video was posted to both his Instagram and Facebook accounts, with the latter video being removed. On Facebook, he lists his current place of residence as being Jacksonville, Florida, and his education as being "the streets." His Instagram account includes photos of him posing with a large amount of money in what appears to be the party aisle of a store, as well as him posing with large chains.

Supporters of Karmelo Anthony expressed outrage following jury selection, when it was revealed that of the 12-person, 6-alternate panel, none were black. Family spokesperson Dominique Alexander said that the jury selection indicates that Anthony is "not receiving a fair trial," and that Anthony has been the subject of "racism" and "white supremacy."
