And this is exactly what they're all counting on! It has to stop, but I don't see how at the moment....

She was an "economic policy advisor" to Cory Booker.
Probably his "woke" consultant.
Got to Amazon and couldn't hack a real job, and now, faced with no prospects, decided to try and cash out by suing.

this is splitting hairs but amazon is a tech giant?
The biggest - as a web services provider (cloud computing, hosting, data services, etc.) AWS is larger than its 12 largest competitors combined.
Read that again. Take the list of the 13 largest web companies, add the numbers 2 through 13 together (this list includes IBM, Google, Microsoft), and that’s still smaller than Amazon Web Services!
That’s just how much of the web Amazon controls. Watched something on Netflix? That came off an AWS server. Downloaded a new app on your iPhone? You probably got it off an AWS server. Stayed at a major hotel? Flown on a major airline? Used a major credit card? All of these things more likely than not ran through an AWS server.

Be careful who you hire, for this reason.

And what does Newman know about cloud infrastructure since her inception date into the AWS business sector in 2017?
I’d love to ask her some questions on data migration procedures from an IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS perspective.
Has she ever worked with Docker on AWS and API integration?
Has she ever worked with exporting Redis data?
What problems has she faced while working with serverless AWS cloud computing resources like Lambda?
Could it be she’s not qualified, where Block and Kellog identified she is out of her element? Now she’s sinking this low with the race card and sexual harassment.
What a lowlife Newman is and should’ve never, ever been hired as the cancer she is.

Because someone litigious is one of the last people I would hire.
Actually just had a class where we discussed the ethical considerations of refusing to hire litigious people. The woke folks could not understand how it was right to take that into consideration in the hiring process.
*I did not meant to imply the lady suing Amazon was doing so without merit. Just that in today's climate it seems like free money for a black woman to sue.

Based on this, I am certain she is not qualified and is border line retarded at best... Sexual harassment is her best shot...

It could stop by all black people leaving the USA. Is that racist?

Yep, it is unfortunate that the more litigious groups do not grasp why an employer would refrain from hiring them... It hurts the good folks within that group but these days you really cannot take a chance...

From the article:
And she worked almost a whole year without getting a promotion? The horror! LOL at this woman expecting not only a raise, but a promotion within her first year.
quote:So she got hired for a role beneath what she thought she should get? It happens every day, including to white men.
Newman, a Harvard Business School graduate who worked for Booker for three years after advising three other members of Congress, said she applied for a public policy manager role at Amazon but was hired at a lower level than she believed was fair given her qualifications.
She was then denied a promotion for over a year, she said, even though she was already taking on the duties of a more senior role.
And she worked almost a whole year without getting a promotion? The horror! LOL at this woman expecting not only a raise, but a promotion within her first year.
quote:Groped her thigh under a table? What does that mean? He put his hand on her thigh? Inappropriate in the workplace maybe, but not sexual harassment. And "pulling her hair" is also sexual harrassment? In what universe?
Newman's lawsuit also laid out startling startling sexual harassment allegations against Maz, another AWS director who has since left the company.
The complaint alleged that Maz sexually assaulted Newman by groping her thigh under a table at a work dinner and pulling her hair when she tried to leave another work event.

In the current business climate is there any reason, from a purely monetary perspective, for a black female to not file a lawsuit upon becoming dissatisfied or fired?
Friend at work pulled the race card when they wanted to let her go. Makes me sick. I’m glad she isn’t in my building anymore

Was the claim frivolous? Successful?

What's more scary is that she was forced at gunpoint to take that role. She couldn't decline it to take a position with another company.
