Also, today in countries around the world being gay is punishable by death. But hey it's not a matter of civil rights so we're good

Take it up with the Muslims you cowards. There is greater persecution of Christians in parts of the world than gays. Ethnic cleansing is still a greater threat than being persecuted for whatever you want to do behind closed doors.

I'm not a victim of anything. I'm not Christian, white is probably the last thing I would use to give myself an identity.

I have aspergers, I'm a victim! I'm a minority! I deserve special protections and opportunities!

I just don't give two shits about things such as these. With the exception of gay people not being able to marry, please tell me how anyone in the groups I listed is a victim? and I mean in 2014

I never said anyone was a victim except for those who claim to be daily on this board.

You however have called Obama a Lenninist and the hunt for the Boston marathon killers the seeds of tyranny. In fact the words tyranny and dictator are tossed around this board daily. Are you comparing the plight of rich white gun toting Americans to the 10 million Russians murdered under a true dictator and tyranny? Because under your definition, one must experience like harm or else you cannot use the words.

So I expect you to take those words back and be the first in every thread to call anyone ridiculous for describing Obama or this govt that way.

That is if you want to be consistent

Title VII protection for LGBTs. The Movement is just a few moments away from our collective cultural focus and attention.

I would imagine the murder of Christians is just upsetting to most as the murder of gays, at least I know it is for me. And I've never been one to shy away from criticizing Islam to a much harsher degree than other belief systems, both on here and in real life.

It's a very interesting dichotomy. In liberal mind, blacks and gays are both helpless victims. However, you've got one group of victims now who completely disagrees with the lifestyle of another set of victims. How do you appease both without offending the other?

Black pastors: Homosexual rights far cry from civil rights

They are very different things. It was never against the law for blacks to have sex with each other under Jim Crow, for instance.

Yeah I'd be insulted if I were them. Trying to equate sexual deviancy to the color of one's skin.

Why is it white folks always want to tell black folks when they should be insulted?

It isn't sexual deviancy. You're just an ignorant bigot.

In the case of blacks, that is certainly true. Is that the case for gays as well? Has there been a "gay gene" pinpointed?

Current studies are showing more and more that it's a combination of nature and nurture factors that contribute to a male's sexuality. While science has been unable to nail down a definitive "gay gene," most psychiatrists and psychologists, and even now scientists, are saying that the only thing really known for certain is that it's not a choice.

quote:

Male sexual orientation influenced by genes, study shows

quote:

A study of gay men in the US has found fresh evidence that male sexual orientation is influenced by genes. Scientists tested the DNA of 400 gay men and found that genes on at least two chromosomes affected whether a man was gay or straight. A region of the X chromosome called Xq28 had some impact on men's sexual behaviour – though scientists have no idea which of the many genes in the region are involved, nor how many lie elsewhere in the genome. Another stretch of DNA on chromosome 8 also played a role in male sexual orientation – though again the precise mechanism is unclear.

quote:

While genes do contribute to sexual orientation, other multiple factors play a greater role, perhaps including the levels of hormones a baby is exposed to in the womb. "Sexual orientation has nothing to do with choice," said Bailey. "We found evidence for two sets [of genes] that affect whether a man is gay or straight. But it is not completely determinative; there are certainly other environmental factors involved."

Homosexuality hasn't been classified as a paraphilia since 1974 by the APA. Since then, it has been categorized as a part of normal sexuality.

Sexual deviancy, the clinical definition anyway, refers to recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors generally involving non-human objects, suffering or humiliation of oneself or one's partner, children, non-consenting people.

That really doesn't apply to homosexuality. Time to update your schema, Constant -- it's 40 years old.

If anything that is a combination of nature and nurture isn't a choice, then almost nothing is a choice.

Not comparable in the sense that gays weren't slaves but black people were never jailed for being black. Gay people were.

Please tell me you mis-typed.

If not, do you truly believe no black people ever went to jail in the Jim Crow South just for being black?

Ever heard of Emmett Till? The three civil rights workers in Philadelphia (one of whom was black)? They only wish they had just gone to jail.

Seeds of tyranny. I just called the search a violation of the 4th amendment but really harped on how incompetent LE was from top to bottom.

1. If anything, You have it so backwards

2. I don't use words like tyranny, I use words like "cocksucker" or "bullshite"

3. No group in the United States deserves special protection. I ask you again, how are any of these groups victims (gay marriage aside because I agree that's bullshite, but still not a "victim" of anyone other than the government

Black people as a whole do not support homosexuality. It's been a real problem for the left.

and it is fricking white liberals who drive most of the "outrage" over this or that hyped up racial controversy

You are some conservative guy playing lib to make them look stupid aren't you?
