If you think that’s aliens you are a moron.
You may be right, could be experimental aircraft. But let's flip the question to you, can you prove it is not extraterrestrials?
I know we have flown experimental planes such as the SR-71, F117 and the B-2 and they may have been mistaken as alien craft or UFOs...UAPs whatever you want to call them. But never once have we had a new military aircraft come out that makes zero sound, can change direction in 90 degree angles are go from stationary to 10's of thousands of miles per hour in a second. Yet we have been receiving sighting of these strange craft for hundreds of years. You would think by now we would have released such a military craft.
For example the B-2 Stealth bomber was first developed in 1981 but not released until 89. The program was started on the development in '81 but I can assure you the design and research was started before then. My point is the military will use technology they develop eventually but going back to the mid 1900's as an example where we noticed these strange flying characteristics have never been implemented in our known advancements in aviation.
I worked around and on many impressive 4th generation fighters in my 22 years of active duty and none of them could do what we see these craft do, not even close.

So of the millions of galaxies, with billions of stars and likely trillions of planets, ours is the only one that happened to form life?
If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound.
Based on the odds you are referring to and give that we haven't had contact with these aliens yet, the likelihood that we will have contact our lifetime is probably in that 1 in a quadrillion range as well.

If they are that advanced to find us, why do they not take over?
Why don’t we take over every ant colony or beehive we find?

Aside from the "tic tac" videos released by the government, it's hard to dig into really any UFO/UAP video and not very easily cast doubt upon its authenticity. And I'm a believer in extraterrestrial/ancient Earth advanced technology. Since the tic tac vids were released by the gov, I automatically doubt. What is most authentic in those videos is the reaction of the highly educated, trained and skilled pilots. They witnessed something that they'd never seen, doing things it shouldn't have been physically possible to do.
I can testify that I saw something similar while last deployed in 2016/2017. For the job I was doing at the time we had access to Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR net) and we were able to view our Reaper and Global Hawk camera recordings as well as other fighter type footage. One of the videos was labeled "UFO" and it showed something very similar to the no famed "tic tak" UFO footage. This object was moving what looked like feet over the Arabian gulf and one of our aircraft locked onto it and followed it for about a minute. It seemed to move erratically (spinning of an oblong-type shape, like a tic tac) while moving forward at a very fast speed. We went to look for it a few days later and it was taken down.
I was stationed in Qatar at the time and was working Maintenance and Logistics at the Combined Air and Operations Center at the time. Our job for maintenance and logistics (A-5) was to monitor the health of our ACC assets as well as moving people and equipment.

The “half football field size” sounds much better than 180 feet.
A B52 has that same wing pattern and the wingspan is… 185feet. The plane is also 160ish feet long (so half a football field).
This is most likely a military plane and the “hovering” is an optical illusion due to speed and angle of travel from the viewer on the ground.

It’s probably a drone swarm.

That’s not how the burden of proof works but yes. It actually can be proven it wasn’t.

Ok I'm all ears, prove to me it wasn't.

Which is more terrifying? Believing we are alone in the universe or knowing we are NOT?

Can't answer for everyone but for me it's "alone".

Alone is far more terrifying.

Because out of billions of planets there couldn’t possibly be more intelligent life forms than Earth right?

Would you want to take over this shithole of a planet? We're like a good episode of Jerry Springer for them. They don't want to mess up good entertainment.

Whether they exist or not, the funniest part is always hearing all the things people know about what an alien would, or would not do.
