Black and white get along a lot better in the South than in the enlightened North or Cali

ETA: I’d add Hispanic in there, too.

Change my mind.

Born and raised in Texas. Lived in Florida.

Now live in upper Midwest, after a few years overseas.

Could be a function of how America has changed in the 11 years since I left Texas, but I doubt it. Noticed it before when I would travel here.

Yet, it’s always the south that gets painted as Bigotville.

The NE is the most racist part of America for a fact

Massachusetts and particularly Boston are the most racist people and they don't even know it. I loved to see what happens if a Brookstown neighborhood or Nola East type of neighborhood ever developed there

That’s because we actually coexist here. The north and Cali are the most segregated and racist places in America

We all live amongst one another. In all these super woke white liberal cities they don't interact with minorities.

I mean, based on familiarity alone this should be obvious.

This ^^^ is the reason white progressives have so much white guilt…..they’ve never dealt with their suppressed racist feelings.

There are parts up north and out west where people barely see black people
In Vermont and New Hampshire there are some areas with no black or Latino people

In the South we interact with each other everyday
In places like Houston you could interact with people of several different nationalities in one day

In the real world black and white get along just fine everywhere. This racial strife is manufactured by democrats and media to keep us divided so they can keep their power.

The most segregated cities seem to be in the North (Chicago, Boston, Philly etc.).

The Massachusetts/Boston carpetbaggers that live in Nola act like they are 100% pro black power.

For the most part, yes. There is a distinct difference, though, between black/white interactions in Atlanta and black/white interactions if you just drive an hour in any direction. There's a grievance culture much more prevalent in metro areas that greatly increases the chance of a chip on their shoulder when they encounter wypipo.

This was my experience in the Air Force. The most racist people I’ve met were from Ohio and California.

James Weldon Johnson made the observation in his "Autobiography of an Ex-colored Man": people in the North love the Negro abstractly but don't really know anyone; people in the South hate Negroes abstractly but love dearly those with whom they interact.

This is true in my experience. Ms. Ethel worked for my grandmother; not only did we love her, our family honored her memory at her funeral-- there were more white people there than black relatives and friends.

I was telling someone the other day about this. We had our civil rights movement already and get along great down here, but that took place in the south. The rest of the country never learned how and are going thru their movement now.. They need to leave us out of it lol
