Not bad, kind of complimentary of Trump on some things. About 12 minutes long.

Bill is not the wacko libtard u guys thing.
He is a peta person
He is very anti religious, (obviously molested at Catholic school)
He and Trump apparently hated each other( Maybe that’s over)
But that said he is old school liberal/libertarian type and hates the fridge left Karen’s more than anyone. They got him fired off networks and destroyed his good friend Al Franken and bunch of his comedian friends.

Gotta give him credit for that.

He had some nice things to say about Donald. Also eye opening that Trump acts like a totally different person in public than what he did with Maher.

I appreciated his clip here, but I am still not a fan in general. For a late night show, I have a lot more respect for Maher - in the same way I respected Letterman. You know its likely not oriented towards you, but you respect the person
Your bullet points to points after "not a wacko libtard" kind of point the opposite direction though.
PETA is very crazy libtard
Anti Religious is the worst out there, if someone isnt religious why do they care about my faith? Why do they want to champion "islamaphobia" which would conquer them?
The third point, based on that video I would believe he and Trump came to a understanding of respect.

I don't know why it's surprising. He's done interviews in the past where he was a pretty normal, intelligent businessman.
It's always been obvious to me it's an act in front of the camera. An act I find very annoying.

Yeah well it’s surprising to some to realize it’s all an act on camera. I don’t know that it’s necessary, but he must think so for some reason.
But I also think he decided to be on his best behavior for Maher.

You are one the slowest people on this site. us guys dont think he is wacko libtard. Hes anti-religious but was never molested at a catholic school... not every one gets molested at a catholic school... like 99.99% dont. He got fired once from ABC for his compliments re: 911 attackers.

In tonight's episode Piers Morgan said he had met Trump a few times over the years. From what Bill said in his recounting of the visit, Maher saw the real Trump according to Piers.
Plenty of people have said the same about him when he's not in front of the cameras.
I'm no Trump apologist by any means, but it is not news he's personable in one on one situations.

He got elected President twice in spite of having zero political organization, so yeah, he has reasons. Trump had to be his own media because the actual media was aligned against him. That means he has to be in an offensive posture all the time. He attacks constantly to get over on the MSM that is relentlessly attacking him.

That's not entirely true. In 2016, Fox and Friends had call in interviews with him many mornings.

Many people who didn’t like Trump have come away with a different opinion of him after they’ve met.

Hilarious that Trump signed the 60 epithets list.
Surprised that he didn’t have Maher create and sign his own list of his own epithets.

yep = probably the one thing I can never get used to - totally different personality than I normally tolerate.
His policy far overrides any distaste I have for his narcissistic persona.

Heck on PMSNBC, Morning Joe had him on in 2016 before before he beat the crap out of Hildawg and his most favorite status ended when he became president and offended Meeka about her botched plastic surgery and went on about Joe’s possible past with an intern.

That’s pretty cool. It’s refreshing that people with vastly different views could have dinner and have civil conversations with each other. I wouldn’t mind if Trump brought a little bit of the person Maher saw into the public.

Rush said that Trump was one of the most generous, self deprecating and well behaved individuals he ever met.

If people didn’t know this by now it’s because they view Trump through a media filter.
Trump is like the cool grandfather you prefer going to see for Christmas because he gives the best presents.

Maher touched on this pertinent fact: Trump is a born & bred New Yorker. I imagine talking like a Sopranos character comes naturally to him when talking to large crowds.
The left likes to call him "a failed businessman" or "a game show host". I remember the 1980's Trump: wildly successful real estate developer, self-confident but more subdued than he is now. He was my hero, rich arse mf living the dream.
