Michelle Obama says fears about the 2024 White House race keep her up at night.

“I am terrified about what could possibly happen,” Obama said of this year’s presidential election in an interview on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, released Monday.

“Because our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit — it affects us in ways that sometimes I think people take for granted,” the former first lady said when asked to name some of her biggest fears keeping her awake.

“The fact that people think that government, does it really even do anything? And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, does government do everything for us.’ And we cannot take this democracy for granted. And sometimes I worry that we do,” Obama, 59, said.

“Those are the things that keep me up,” she said, while also listing wars “in too many regions,” the future of artificial intelligence, education, whether the public is “too stuck” to their phones, and voter engagement among her chief concerns.

Well at least we can still confirm that she’s as stupid and unaware as the current roster of Democrats. And just as the current roster has demonstrated, she will also demonstrate much too high a level of arrogance to be successful. Ain’t worried about her worthless arse.

She/it/he was all for Obama and Biden ruling by fiat and ruining people's lives but is now concerned that the frickery the Dims have done could come back to bite them in the arse.

Maybe this entitled Frick tranny should read the Constitution. It controls the powers of each branch of government. If she/he/it is "worried" she should join Rand Paul as a constitutionalist and follow it and back it regardless of party.

Yeah....right.

How can you love democracy and at the same time believe that voters are really stupid?

There seems to be a disconnect here.

My guess is the disconnect is about 15,000,000 "votes."

If people should be terrified by anything it should be of those who think like this

Big Mike is scared about "muh democracy." Could it be that the real fear is that dirty secrets will come to light?

These are genuine concerns that I actually share with Big Mike. It's a strange point in history when I find myself in agreement with him, though it's definitely different sides of those topics that he and I think are problems.

He wants to ask me if I think the government does everything, or nothing, for us though?

The government most certainly doesn't do "nothing". It doesn't do "everything" either, but it does much closer to "everything" than "nothing", and that's the issue, sir. The government wants to do what they consider "everything" for us, whether we want it or not, and then tax us into poverty just to give us shite we never asked for that our tax dollars already paid for.

I despise what we've become, and where we're heading.
