Actually, there’s not any context needed. The simple facts of this sham are easy for anyone to understand. But thank you for attempting to defend this like a good socialist.
I didn’t defend anything. I literally started the post with “this is bad policy.”
You’ve got people in this thread that think having shittier credit is better for you because the article is unclear on how it works. I just explained the actual matrix.

Loan to value is on the x axis, credit score is on the y axis. ETA- Positive numbers mean the rate got better in that subset, negative numbers mean the rate got worse.
So, per this chart, if you have a credit score above 780 and have a 20% down payment, you actually come ahead with these changes too?

those people probably forgot to use the sarcasm font slack.

As long its on xiDung voters, then go ahead and raise their rates.
Better yet, double 'em. No wait, triple their rates.

That’s f’d up. Would love to see a class action lawsuit against this. Impose fee to subsidize substandard loans. Sounds about right for this administration. Just wait until they give these people up to $100k free so they can move into your safe and nice neighborhoods. And ruin others.

Just chill out people. The conservative opposition in DC will be mounting a vigorous defense against this outrage soon. No way they’ll let the dens get away with this…

Yes.

Holy shite, so the people who this policy SHOULD help (those with middling credit scores and down payments) are punished the worst and the people with utterly dogshit credit scores with the lowest equity post-mortgage are rewarded the most?
I'd love to hear someone explain the logic to me.

I don’t think the conservatives care one bit. They are all the one and the same in DC. If they cared, things wouldn’t be like they are now. We are screwed. I’m getting older so not so worried about myself. But my young adult children, I hate to think what it will be like for them. It really sucks what our country has become.

The logic is, plain and simple, to subsidize the risk of those with lower credit scores using an increase in rates on those with good credit scores. Like many things in this country, the very highest scores and lowest scores benefit, and the middle 80% are relatively screwed.

yup. they see it. they know they don’t have a leg to stand on, so they RA it to be moved to the PoliBoard so they can’t have their noses rubbed in the mess they helped create over on the OT.

1. Not everybody, very few in society can “pay cash” for their house, your mindset is retarded & arrogant.
2. Maybe you’ll be humbled when the Gov’t starts raising property taxes to where it becomes like a house note, that’s gonna be in the near future as well.
3. Research Rules for Radicals and one of their rules is to flood the system with “dependants”. Then the tax payers get to pay for the dependants and it collapses a free society so they can take over this country when the good folks paying their taxes just give up and say “this is too hard”, I might as well become a dependent. And the more and more that happens, then they will be coming for you with higher property taxes!
4. Who do you think will pay for those dependants? Think they will leave you alone? If so, your more of an idiot than your mindset right now.
You’re missing the entire message by this topic here! At what point do some of you people not see the big picture? Where do you see it being fair for a Gov’t system to create a lending system that isn’t equal across the board?
They start with this, then it slides more and more to reward the lazy asses or the people that don’t have “cash to buy their houses in cash”?
Sounds like you may need some humbling!
This is overreach and it’s not right at all, you’re missing the point!
Just like with everything else, the LGB movement started out way more innocent and now they are passing laws where kids can have sex changes at 3 years old. Just like pedophelia is being normalized. They don’t just give you the end results of their plan on the front end. They gradually turn up the heat like a frog in the boiling pot that thinks he is in a warm bath, then a hot tub & before you know it, he’s being boiled to death!
But hey, I’ve always heard you can’t argue with ignorance, stupidity and arrogance have a good day!

This is the ramping up of Section 8. This is why the feds want Section 8 and subsidized apartments in every suburb. White suburbanites rejoice, your white guilt will be satisfied through the destruction of your home. Worth it?

Socialism. More of it.
That's what it is.
Screw this administration. Why not hand out some "reparations" to black home buyers while you're at it?
This country is going to hell.
