Was he wrong? There are certainly people who want to do exactly that.
Speaking from personal experience?

Is, um... lynching of black people a pressing problem in the US over the past 50-60 years?

Have more people died from:
A. White people lynching black people

--or--

B. Black people playing the "knockout game" (old story but significantly more timely than talk of lynching)?

I’ve met some people in my 38 years, and not once have I ever heard of anyone wanting to kill someone for their skin color

He would also not be wrong if he were to state the correct fact that there are black people who still want to see white people erased from the earth.

As a leader who should be trying to unify, the last thing that should come out of your mouth are words to nurture hatred and division. But you know this already.

Jesus, when was this? I see that the story was posted 17 hours ago. First I’ve heard of it. Is it from yesterday or something?
Evidently from yesterday

Larry Elder also just posted it on his twitter page, so it seems like the story just came out today

“[People were] lynched for simply being black–nothing more,” Biden told the audience. “With white crowds and white families gathered to celebrate the spectacle. Taking pictures of the bodies and mailing them as postcards. Hard to believe, that that’s what was done. And some people still want to do that.”

Biden called Sen. Robert C. Byrd "a friend." At Byrd's funeral, Biden called him "a mentor, and he was a guide." Even more, "Robert C. Byrd elevated the Senate." Byrd founded a major chapter of the Klan and later stood for 14 hours to filibuster against the Civil Rights Act. The racist filibuster came eight years before Biden won a Senate seat and fast embraced Byrd — an overt racist who repeated the "n-word" on TV this century — as his mentor.

Not saying this is false, but the same shite was posted about Killary Klinton and RCB when she was running for President.

So sick and God Damn tired of hearing about black people and their fukin problems Jesus H.

Mind bending how pathetic and worthless people are when it comes to progression in certain cultures.

Survival of the Fittest is what I learned a long damn time ago. I don’t give a darn why color you are there are challenges you can use as excuses if you want them.

Pandering to the weak and Injecting the strong is all I’ll remember from Covid 19. Huge setback we may never recover from.

Maybe Joe should invite Emmit’s family to join his Delaware beach club as reparations.

I’m sure he’ll get right on it.

The only people I have ever heard recite anything close to this were white liberals or raised by white liberals.

That is his dementia coming out. He can't hide how he really feels anymore. He has lost control of the self-control button in other words.

Joe Biden gave the eulogy at Robert Bryds funeral. Go to YouTube and you can hear Biden s praise yourself.
