The campaign also said that a Biden administration would take action against fossil fuel companies and others “who put profit over people and knowingly harm our environment and poison our communities’ air, land, and water, or conceal information regarding potential environmental and health risks.”
What the frick are they talking about? Do they not know their own laws on their own Federal books? All industry, including the fossil fuel industry, is required to follow state and federal air, water, and waste regulations in order to meet the health standards imposed BY THE frickING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!! Have you heard of the NAAQs Joe? PSD? NNSR? How about the Clean Water Act Joe? Have you heard of that. Have you ever tried to comply with the Hazardous Waste Regulations Joe? I bet you haven't, or you'd shut your stupid fricking mouth. I could give you a month long class on environmental compliance and only scratch the damn surface.
Idiots... and the sheep will all get in line with their signs. NO MORE DIRTY AIR!!! STOP POISONING THE WATER..
Hey Joe, if you fill your car up with gas, you are "Knowingly poisoning the community!!!" Do you use natural gas to cook with, you polluter filth? DO you shite Joe? Guess his house is made of mud and straw, so he doesn't knowingly add to the environmental hazards of being a modern human. I hate these people and the fake news bullshite. Get out of here with that crap. Its crap. Its lies. Its made up horseshite.
There is nothing an industry can "hide" from an environmental agency. Whatever they want to know, you have to provide it. If its proprietary, you still have to provide it, you just have to have portions redacted from public view, but the agency still gets to review the info.
So damn stupid.

Sweet! Let's destroy an industry using taxpayer dollars, prop up technology that will never be a viable main stream energy source, and ignore nuclear power all at the same time.
Instead of being the usual stupid, we can be three times as stupid.

More than that...
Let's blame all the warming on the U.S.
Let's ignore the sun...
Let's ignore China and India in the scheme of things...
I count at least six times stupid...

Anyone who’s been around for more than 45 years, knows that this bs has been going on for a long time and here we are still blaming ourselves for global warming. But now it’s climate change, because there were some years that got really cold.
Back in the 70’s we were told that if we didn’t do something, we’d be drowining in 25 years due to melted polar caps. Didn’t happen.
It’s all designed by globalists to cripple capitalism. Make America weak by clamping all sorts of useless regulations on industry and raising prices while they get powerful. China, India, Russia etal, will work under an honor system but we have to change our lifestyle.
Well guess what: we’re one of the most environmentally conscious countries on the planet. CERCLA, OPA90, safe drinking water act, clean air act, resource conservation act, and huge bureacracies to oversea all of this!
America spends trillions a year to keep the planet clean!
America drives fuel efficient cars. We recycle. We don’t litter. We flush less water and we treat our sewerage rather than dump it in the river. We have efficient air conditioners and appliances.
All of this for what!? So we can be made to look like booogie men to the rest of the world and American globalists that want to cripple us. Well too friggin bad. We’re the good guys.
China can change their ways if its so important to them. Oh but they never got to have the prosperity that we got to have with cheap fuel and low regulations.... pfhhhh. Too bad.
I’m done with these phony environmentalists. Most are hypocrites anyway. Country club liberals who want to drive SUV’s but preach clean energy. Phonies!

The plan on his website actually proposes new investment in nuclear.
I haven't dug into the details very hard, but the numerous bullet points on his campaign site are way more realistic than the GND.
I don't expect someone like you to be supportive of the tax and regulatory schemes. I've got some issues at first glance regarding electrification of transport in the next ten years. He said something about HVAC using refrigerant that don't contribute to global warming, but it still costs energy to cool shite down. So yeah, it's not perfect. Still has way more thought than the GND.

So he is sliding in the new green deal with a diplomatic name. How long do the dems think they can fool people?

We should just regress back to Hunter/gatherers to reduce our mass consumption. That way we will all be equal and benefitting from our own labor

Tim Pool did a good video on Democrats going after the "woke" crowd.
Which is essentially the Twitter crowd.
Which is essentially not real.
Which means Democrats are concentrating on people who can't get them elected.
Meanwhile Republicans are.

The far left is already bitching about this proposal, one that would be lucky to get half of it actually passed through the legislature, for not being extreme enough.
The only acceptable solution is one that would cripple the economy and has zero political viability. I'd like a unicorn that farts rainbows and gold too.

Expand your horizons a bit. The future of energy isn't in the ground.

What’s your background in energy? Be specific.

Bmy, so the US falls on the financial sword of radical change, but what about China and all the other Asian polluters that outpace us at 3/1? Well, at least we will sleep better in our dirt nap..knowing we tried.
Where's IB? If we can't get China to accept fair trade after allowing them decades of unfair financial rape, how will we ever get them to quit putting metals in child's toys and using polluted runoff water in fields for their exported crawfish?
