The ruling elite has absolutely no idea what the day to day American can afford, or what their cost of living is. They don't even know what any of these things cost. They have little if any contact with poor or middle class people.

I bet you Granholm has no earthly idea what the cost of solar panels is, how someone would have to go about navigating financing for them, and it doesn't occur to her that someone might live in a rent house, or in an apartment, or a condo, where installing solar panels is impossible. The only people she has had any day to day contact with are people like her: rich and connected.

You cannot lead people you have no contact with, or an economy you have no understanding of.

This stuff doesn’t affect people in NYC, Chicago or LA, especially those that can’t afford a home and live in apartments. But that’s the goal isn’t it?

Not true. it's 15%

Probably also not true.

If you are low-income, 30% off solar panels means only they are slightly less vastly out of reach.

And how the screaming arse-rape does that impact the skyrocketing price of food?

I’ll be honest, a lot of Republicans on the Public Service Commission here in Louisiana make Solar far more expensive and far less economical than it should be.

Which is how the utility companies like it.

Otherwise yeah she’s FOS.

This inflation making me poor, do i get 30% off?

What’s 30% of nothing? Cause thats how many panel sales you’ve have to low income. People struggling to keep the lights on month to month. But you’ll take 30% of that 30k install job. Sure

The thing with solar is the maintenance costs and return on investment (ROI). Solar is not viable in many states.

What happens when’s your roof goes bad. You will have very poor choices of a roofing company that knows anything about solar & vice/versa.

Also, the technology is an issue. In a perfect scenario it takes about 20 years to break even if you’re lucky. That’s about the breakdown time of the panels. Not to mention swapping out batteries etc.

Here's the shell game being played by the government with their "green energy" BS, here's how it works. The government announces a $7500 tax credit for the purchase of a new EV....GM and Ford immediately announce a $6250 increase to the base cost of their electric vehicles.

You paid cash, so I’d say you have maybe a 1% chance of qualifying

What if we don’t want ugly arse panels all over our roofs?

A lot of HOA covenants won't allow for the placement of solar panels in their neighborhoods.....let's be honest, you have a beautiful home worth $400k or more and your gonna put hideous solar panels all over the SW/SE portion of the roof?
