You need to chill with the teachers sitting on their asses stuff. Maybe in other states, but here in MS we've been full steam ahead in football since last June, and the classroom since the first week of August. I haven't missed a day. Every teacher at our school wanted to go back. We don't deserve any praise, just doing our jobs like everyone else, but don't clump us in to being lazy asses.

No I don’t. Look, I know there are good teachers who want to get back to work, but I think the heads of the teacher’s unions should be in prison for child abuse. While there are a bunch of really horrible teachers that don’t want to go back to work, it’s the Unions that are to blame. I’m sorry but after years of insisting your profession was heroic, your leaders have been the biggest fricking pussies ever. Not that I’m one to defend this scumbag, but go onto Bill De Blasio’s Twitter sometime and look at who is attacking him the most. Even if you’re a good teacher, sorry Norm is correct on shitting all over your profession here after the shite show that was 2020.
