Biden Celebrates George Floyd For ‘Unifying’ Races Even as Polling Shows Race Relations Getting Worse in America
President Biden took a moment Thursday to honor George Floyd on the three-year anniversary of his death, celebrating him as a “unifying” factor in race relations in America.
“Today, America mourns the murder of George Floyd three years later,” Biden, or somebody associated with him, tweeted.
“I’ll never forget Gianna Floyd’s words: ‘Daddy changed the world,'” he added, speaking of Floyd’s daughter. “He has – unifying people of every race and generation in peace and with purpose to say: Enough.”
