They bend over backwards honoring the islamic faith... and ban Bible Gateway

This should tell people something. Literally only Christianity is ever under attack, always. Why do you think that is? Because the Truth will set you free.

I’ll hazard a guess.

The bible has hateful language such as, “Women don’t have dicks.”

It’s not banned. It’s down due to technical issues. The AI reply used a reply, similar to the OP, as info for the reason.

I can’t imagine what Winston Churchill would think if he saw the dismantling of the British Empire, and done by its own people no less.

A thousand years? They will be lucky if the Union Jack is still flying after just 100 years.

Maybe we can trade our weirdo leftist for Britain's best.

I'd take that. Left always talks about how great Europe is. Here's a one way ticket. Trade citizenship with a Brit

That first became an issue and was first reported on September 10. I haven't seen an update since then, but I'm still looking.

You'd think if it were a technical issue, as the app developers and management have said, it would have been fixed by now. Weird situation, for sure, being that they've given no further update.

ETA: Other Bible apps appear to be unaffected and still available. This looks like a possible legal issue with BibleGateway. I saw some talk of copyright or similar issues that led to them not being able to operate in the EU and UK.

Jesus, you people keep falling for the bait.

Other Bible apps seem to be unaffected. From what I gather, this has to do with sharing user information under laws that apply to all internet apps and sites.

I think the law behind it sucks, but characterizing it (as the OP does) as “Bible apps” (implying it’s all Bible apps) is just one more case of you people running with whatever gets thrown out there to get you ginned up.

Stop being such fricking pawns.

Its likely that they are blocked because they use cookies and other things that are banned under the EU privacy acts.

I'm the first one to call out the EU UK, but it really seems to be that the cookies are blocked and that's why customers saved content is gone.

They may have to rebuild their auth.

Exactly.

This board has become such an overreacting bunch of Karens that it’s just pathetic.

Helpful hint (especially these days): if something seems like it’s there just to piss you off, it probably is.

Yeah, but in the UK that’s different.
