his father was not just “a judge“ in El Paso. He was the County Judge of the county, meaning that he was the chief executive officer of the county and leader of the county party. With control of party mechanisms, he could have gotten his son elected to the city Council if his name had been “Janice.“

I just received a text from someone from his campaign asking if I'll be voting for him or Cruz (no idea how they got my number).
My reply:
1 of 2: Beto? Hmm sounds Hispanic. I'm Hispanic. Yes, he's got my vote!
(I'm not Hispanic)
2 of 2: Why would I vote for Robert Francis O'Rourke, a white male attempting to dupe voters in to thinking he's Hispanic only to receive cheap votes derived off of identity politics?

Over the weekend I got one of these too. Mine was from Jennette. I have no idea how they got my number because i have an old number from when i used to live in Connecticut so I have a 203 area code. Someone definitely gave her my number. I would love to know who so that I can promptly stop doing business with them.
