who deserve to live uncomfortable lives.

Campus Reform

quote:

Kernion began the thread by advocating against affordable healthcare solutions in rural America, saying that “Rural Healthcare Should be expensive! And that expense should be borne by those who choose rural America!”

quote:

He argued that promoting a need for “affordable rural healthcare” is equivalent to arguing for rural Americans “to be subsidized by those who choose a more efficient way of life.” “Same goes for rural broadband. And gas taxes,” Kernion added. “It should be uncomfortable to live in rural America. It should be uncomfortable to not move,” he wrote.

quote:

“I unironically embrace the bashing of rural Americans. They, as a group, are bad people who have made bad life decisions. Some, I assume are good people. But this nostalgia for some imagined pastoral way of life is stupid and we should shame people who aren’t pro-city,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

It's not that uncomfortable. At least twats like this guy don't live anywhere close to us.

Hey, at least referred to them as "people". That's a big step for his breed.

He'll probably be cancelled for that.

I read the whole thing.

Somehow, I don't really care about the opinion of a guy I've never met who, as far as I'm concerned, really has no reason to have a respected opinion.

It's probably because I'm a bad person.

This is taking the,” if it isn’t my way, it’s wrong” idea to the nth degree.

Rural people should start charging urban people a surtax for food. And a surtax for oxygen since most trees grow in rural areas. And a surtax for water since most water sources are not in cities. I'm sure there are many other ways rural people can even things out in his scenario.

I mena shite it is one thing to argue it’s expensive to live far away from stuff and people who live close buy shouldn’t bear the cost

It’s another thing to argue they deserve this or are had people.

They really want everyone on the Coasts so their votes don't matter.

Jackson Kernion

Jackson is primarily interested in philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of science. He’s currently writing a dissertation on the concept of conscious experience, arguing for a certain kind of a priori functional constraint on experience. When not philosophizing, he likes to go hiking and keep up a coding hobby.

Well hopefully the next time Jackson goes hiking he is mauled to death by a rural grizzly bear.

As long as people like "Kernion" (fake name) don't live in the country, it will remain perfectly comfortable by my standards.

Meanwhile, I live half a mile from one of the highest endowed universities in the world, in a neighborhood designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, and it is traffic and crime hell and full of morons.

I'm movin to the country and gonna eat me a lot of peaches, so f off Mr. Kernion.

I'd be willing to bet that's Nepal. Looks similar to pictures I have from there. I'm thinking that's Everest on the right.

How long until calls begin to seize rural people’s land in the name of social justice?

It’s coming.

There seems to be a gigantic totalitarian streak that runs through many on the left these days. There can be no deviation from their worldview or it must be quashed.

His Facebook page shows him enjoying rural activities, just not in the country he’s been taught to hate the most... you know, The United States.

Self righteous piece of shite.
