With that those rural people and their farms, it takes only about three days before big cities start to starve.

Absolutely

Rural folk could live if the cities shut down. Urbanites would die in days without rural folk.

I spend every Christmas in rural America. It's a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Miami and the strain of navigating large Central and South American capitals.

in short, that's the dumbest thing I've ever read.

The US also subsidizes food and resource extraction, which I am fine with. The Farm Bill is one bill that actually makes sense.

We should subsidize farming and oil/NG extraction. Our very existence depends on continuance and encouraging these activities. And urbanites consume FAR MORE of these resources. Which is why his "tax them into oblivion until only cities are left" plan is completely retarded.

Which is why this philosophag should die in a fire. Un-ironically.

He most likely has no clue where resources and food come from. Probably thinks it's made in a Whole Foods lab.

I hope his car breaks down somewhere rural and somehow the people who stop to help him know what he has said. Then they can introduce him to how bad we are.

I hope that SOB likes growing his own food. I would have no problem with dumping 3 tons of natural fertilizer on his front lawn.

Can we make the same argument about Section 8 in urban areas?

I really am beginning to have an unhealthy disdain for people like this. I can just see him in his skinny jeans, muffin top, t-shirt, nasty beard, beanie cap and scarf.......I am going to click the link now and see if my prediction was correct.
