I think this is what happened. They got out too far over their skis trying to make content to compete with Netflix and such.
Hard to think their podcasts aren't still very profitable.

Shapiro didn’t run it into the ground. Jeremy Boreing did. Bragging about spending a million dollars on a stupid commercial and how many millions on the failed Pendragon series.
Also, conservatives shouldn’t be cheering this on. But the typical crowd will cheer it on. It’s okay to push for reform but you shouldn’t be cheering the destruction of the Daily Wire. They have done a ton of good.

Not sure this is true. Nothing has been filed based on AI searches. Maybe there is some smoke but nothing has been verified. This might be just a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors.

A couple years ago, they offered Crowder $50-100 million. Looks like Crowder, Tim Pool, and all the others made the right choice to switch to Rumble.
Shapiro and Boering, on the other hand, chose to work with YouTube and supported the banning and demonetization of conservatives. DW deserves this for refusing to fight against censorship.
Peterson deserves it for be a self-important douche. A young kid called into his podcast and asked what he thought about his "Autistic as frick" t-shirt. Peterson's response was "I think you are angry at God for being." What a pretentious dumbass. Yes, the kid is laughing about a joke t-shirt he made because he is angry God let him be born. Who acts that way towards a fan over a dumb joke? That guy's a phony and thinks his shite don't stink.
