Very well written! Pancreatic cancer is an SOB even if caught early but stage 4 is a tough battle even very treatable cancers. They have made some improvements in treatments and you never know what can happen. I very much hate that for him and his family!

I don't have any biological siblings but I have my "brothers and sisters" nonetheless. I lost one of my brothers to PC a few years back. In his late 30s.

frick. CANCER.

Godspeed, Mr. Sasse.

all due respect, in the words of the great John Candy- "you'd have more luck playing pick-up-sticks with your buttcheeks" than beating metastasized pancreatic cancer at stage 4. He gets it though. That is probably the least curable cancer there is.

I remember the name but can't remember anything about him.

My mother died from pancreatic cancer. It's terrible. Prayers for him and his family.

Oh good grief Ivermectin isn’t going to treat stage 4 anything, stop with the goofy nonsense and neither did your grandfather beat stage 4 pancreatic cancer with Ivermectin or Fenbendazole.

All due respect, my grandfather was diagnosed the same 10+ years ago. Leave this to the people who have been there and seen it beaten. And watched the same drugs fight back stage 4 uterine cancer TWICE.

Long story that I don't wish to share here, but it can be beaten.

Of course, none of this matters if he isn't on the drugs right now or in the very near future. At this stage it won't take long for his body to succumb to the disease.

I don't think there is much doubt. He was one of the most completely principled Christian politicians that ever served, which is why he didn't make a very good politician. I hope when my time comes, I can meet it with the faith and courage that he is meeting it. He had to retire from public life to take care of his sick wife; that dude has had a serious share of suffering. Praying for him.

Hate that for him and his family. That's an ugly journey.

Got an OBC classmate at 41.

This is sad… we need to figure out, as a country and society, what is causing metastatic cancers to skyrocket for young people more recently.

Seed oils, processed food, unnecessary vaccinations, sugar, rubbing chemicals onto your body all the time, lack of sunlight, pesticides

theres a long list. If one chooses to take self responsibility and do research, you can absolutely greatly reduce your risk of cancer

Not that anyone would want cancer, but that is the one you absolutely definitely do not want

My brother in law was diagnosed in late January. He was gone before February ended. He had cancer three times prior and had cheated death twice.

My wife’s uncle currently has it. He was told almost 2 years ago that he would be dead in six months. But he just now appears to be in his last days.

I searched and Sasse praised the Covid vaccines although to his credit he did not support the mandates.
