Good for you. I recently made a similar decision. Too much stuff coming down the pike that I knew was going to be problematic for me. Good luck!

Just remember - you will owe taxes on any earnings you might ultimately have...so you are a government slave there.

You will also have to pay your employees at least a statutory minimum wage - so you are not a free man there either.

If you have physical space, you will have to comply with a variety of government guidelines - including ADA and OSHA. You are their slave.

On and on.

You ain't free, baw. Might as well protest by going to Belarus.

Let me know when you get big enough to need a good procurement lawyer, baw. I don’t know how much longer I can handle a fully cucked Fortune 500 company lifestyle.

If you drink good coffee, come see me. That's why I included it! There will be plenty of non hunting retail to pique the interest of common tourists.

I envy you. Nobody is truly independent until he works for himself.

We’ve been in retail in the Bham area for almost 20 yrs now. Best decision my wife ever made (besides marrying me). You need to learn Facebook marketing ASAP.

Here's a nugget to think about for encouragement...Bass Pro Shops founder started his biz selling bait and fishing gear out of the back of his old man's liquor store.

It can be done. Good luck! Hope this works out for you.

I travel through Vicksburg occasionally, when are you opening? You’ve got my business.

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood...and I took the one less traveled by...and that has made all the difference".

Good luck. God speed.

Aside, if the Left wins this struggle for power, they'll come for the Self Employed for sure; as those folks are the most creative and productive. Mao whacked em' in his 'Great Reset'...and it put China on a starvation diet for decades.
