How was he picking a fight? He made a sensible comment.
Be that as it may, a fight is what transpired. Look, I'm not saying that the guy is right or wrong here. Just looking at it from the business side of it. It may end up working out for him. But it may also do damage to his business.
I probably would have used a burner account if I felt that strongly about it. I wouldn't have attached my business's name to something like that.

There's nothing too offensive that can be said about Islam or its followers. They are all scum.

Came here to post the same comment. I think the people boycotting him were not actually eating there to begin with.

He probably should have just sat that one out, honestly.

I don't think there is anything wrong with what he said either

I don't know either but he should offer to give away free pulled pork sandwiches at Friday prayers as a peace offering.

Right. This is all I'm trying to say. Or use a burner account since it's on social media.

I eat there every now and then. Hutchins, along with Tenders, is some of the best BBQ around. Brisket will just melt in your mouth and during covid crazy, they did not care if you masked up.
Their brisket is damn expensive

He doesn’t serve goat but does serve a lot of pork.

I live in McKinney, TX and so I can certainly vouch that Hutchins is great BBQ. They have had some suspiicious fires over the years followed by a bigger, nicer restaurant but hey, their brisket and Texas Twinkies are delicious.

Hutchins is damn good. At least the one on Preston Rd. in Frisco is.

When i go to my guy to buy hardwood lumber, I exit right there at 380 off of 75 next to that restaurant. I'll have to stop by next month when I need to get a new order.
Small world. I drive by there everyday, My business is right there off of Hwy 5 next to the DMV off Powerhouse. Nothing like a chopped brisket and sausage sandwich at Hutchins for lunch. Of course, that means I'm so full I'm passed out all afternoon! Lol

Do they sell pork as well (its Texas and they are all about beef)? If so they should offer a free baby back rib with every order.

I live in Allen and will visit his restaurant weekly from now on.

Went there yesterday. Think I’ll go back. The mentally ill, habitually offended are always lurking.
What he said was common sense. We can be nice but we don’t have to agree on everything. True words.

He’s a BBQ restaurant in TX. This can only help him. Libs worried about Islamophobia ain’t eating there anyway.

Let's see, sensible Texan speaks the truth and those who want the truth destroyed are outraged and immediately shift into to Woke virtue signaling mode.

I'd prefer my central Tx bbq joints follow this guy's lead. I approve of them jacking the prices sky high for the cockroaches, but the wait times are insufferable.

Do you think it's not time for American patriots to speak up? Where's the threshold?
FTR, Hutchins is great BBQ.

Good for him. I doubt the moslims frequent his place, so good for him. Stand up for what you believe in, and let the cards land where they land.
