Also it took Ron and his team 24 hours to respond to Biden's Red Scare speech. That is not going to cut it if he has presidential aspirations.

Who are you? The arbiter of Twitter timing? Do you have the stopwatch out?

Were we the only ones that knew Biden was giving a speech? If he truly wants to be president he and his team should be better prepared.

Be honest. You are looking to score points against DeSantis in case he runs against Trump in 10 months. That is the only reason you care.

Not in the least. I want as strong a party as we can possibly have. That includes getting rid of all the RINO establishment stooges that sold this country and their voters down the river.

If you can not see the changes in him over the past couple of months then I can not help you.

I don’t think Trump or DeSantis are RINO establishment stooges. Do you?

One is currently being pimped and bankrolled by the establishment. That gives me pause after everything we have seen.

Desantis might be...

We have seen way too many Republicans promise to fight the Dems and DC, and then bend over and take it while pandering to the MIC, the COC, and the DeepState.

DC needs to be nurtured. The Executive branch needs to return to what it was before Wilson and FDR. The States should handle the vast majority of all issues.

I also don't believe Trump would go far enough, but for the sake of justice, and for the good of our country, he deserves to win 2024.

Okay, so you guys suspect DeSanits might be a RINO.

In terms of how they “president” as president, what are the main differences between a RINO and a genuine conservative?

ETA - what I’m getting at is IMO if we’re going to worry about one of them being a RINO or GOPe, it’s Frump that should get most of the scrutiny based on how he performed as president.

Trump took money from 130 of our nation's 600 billionaires in the 2020 cycle. Are they establishment?

DeSantis has gotten donations from about 40 billionaires this cycle and suddenly he is being "bankrolled" and controlled by "the establishment".

You need to hold Trump up to the same standards you are holding DeSantis.

What a fricking clown show you guys are.

Is Desantis going to gut the executive branch when he enters the White House?

Trump had a plan to do that and it is long overdue...

Trump didn't do it 2016-2020.

When he said "I will drain the swamp", I actually thought that is what he meant. Cut the budget of the letter agencies. Reduce their footprint.

To date, nothing Ron has done suggests he can be controlled by the deep state. Unless alive missed something, this guy has stuck it to libs in his state, including taking on Disney, which until now was the golden calf.

He seems to surround himself with intelligent and loyal people, and doesn’t take any shite from Democrats. I haven’t seen any evidence is his desire to join hands with libs and smoke the peace pipe.

The OP is fanatical about Trump so any challenger to Trump, she feels threatened. She’s been doing this against DeSantis for a couple years now.

Frog, c’mon man. You say your expectations weren’t met because you really didn’t want Trump to succeed in the first place. Which I don’t understand, and maybe you don’t either when it really comes down to it. It’s a strange phenomenon.

How long has the swamp been in the making? 20 years? 30? More? Is it really reasonable to expect one man to undo that wicked and tangled web 30 years in the making, in just 4?? Any person taking an honest view of Trump’s style knows fully and clearly the type things that are to be taken literally, those that are to be taken rhetorically, and a mixture of the two. And it’s not rocket science. “Drain the swamp” is the mixture of the two. The man deserves emphatic credit for “even just” identifying the nature and scope of the swamp and its threat to this country. But it’s a blatantly unreasonable expectation to expect that and full dismantling of it as well. Had he gotten his next four years that process would’ve gotten underway.

And on a related note, he also brought to our attention the nature and scope of the media’s extreme use of fame news and the extent to which they’ve been manipulating the country all these years.

Using reasonable expectations I’d say he exceeded them.

I would take Ron over Trump. Hes a conservative nerd that is red to the bone. Hes smart and is a cunning linguist. Florida is awesome since he took control.
