Why doesn't the Establishment desire the public seeing headlines regarding France protests and rioting?

You know why. If the French are protesting, you know damn well they are scared about what Americans will do when Trump is arrested. If we really wanted, we could make Jan 6 look like a birthday party.

Because macron is about to be kicked out on his arse.

French parliament is supposed to vote on him tomorrow or Wednesday.

I think you mean: 'Why doesn't the Establishment not desires the public not seeing headlines.'

They're not reporting the collapse of the NHS in Britain either. You know exactly why

To be fair the French protesting or striking is an average Monday

They don't want an "Aryan Spring" starting up.

French riots are not news. That's just normal politics in France.

According to the J6 hearings the insurrectionists were within a gnats arse of taking over the capitol. Can you image if they had been armed?

The fact that there are 4 times as many firearms in US civilian hands than ALL THE COMBINED MILITARIES OF THE WORLD should scare the shite out of the elites. I think it does but they control the media so they can make it appear like the government is in control.

If things ever go sideways you will see those bastards private planes heading to some island with no extradition.

Because the French riot so much that it isn’t really news.

The French protest quite often…it’s not necessarily earth shattering when they do it.

How much time are you wanting US domestic press to spend on French domestic politics?

Just curious. This board oscillates wildly between demanding that the news cover an event 24/7 ad nauseum, and claiming that the news is hiding something else when an event is covered 24/7 ad nauseum. Often times the board's depiction of the coverage varies greatly from reality as well.

On this specific topic, for instance, I don't even know what OP is talking about. The WSJ, WaPo, NYT, and CNN all have stories on the French political situation on either their main or international news pages.

You have to be rioting for the right cause.

Aren't they rioting because Macron is engaged in a tiny bit of conservatism, namely increasing the retirement age by 2 years?

That is the way I took it but it is probably like adding years to Social Security... If the spending doesn't change, then it is only a matter of time until they want to add more year...

Personally, if France burned to the ground, I am not sure I would miss it...
