There's nothing "official" as to what's going on in the photo. After looking through the Twitter threads about it I've noticed a few things:




--This photo appears to have been taken with their parents and dates all in attendance. They were just behind the photographer. And there are multiple other photos in the series that have them with their dates, and so on.

--There's only one main Twitter handle that claims to be in touch with "former students" who all claim that racism is rampant at that school. All of the anonymous text this person has shown on their Twitter page are all suspiciously similar in both grammar and grandeur. I think this entire thread is bullshite, but that hasn't stopped all the NPCs from running with it as absolute truth.

--The Twitter that originally shared the photo has since been made private.

--The Twitter of both the School and the School Board have both shared pictures of the letter that has been sent to the parents.

--There does appear to be one current student, a girl, who says that the boys in the pic are current seniors and that the school is full of bullies. Again, only one girl is claiming this, so take that with a grain of salt.

--One person claims that the photo was taken by a former teacher, who I guess started his photography business ( ???). But this claim is accompanied by the claim that this was to be a funny pic and the teacher said something like "do something racist." Then it goes on to expose the guy and claim that he's a big Trump supporter. So again, take this with a grain of salt.

--Multiple people are running with the student doing the White Power sign in the front middle.

--Several of the students have been outed. These vermin are sharing their names and social media accounts and are, of course, calling for their heads. Several of them are claiming that they are going to let the local universities know who these students are.

--Several people have claimed to have already contacted the HS football coach and demanded that the students be kicked off of the team. These people are going nuts over this shite.





Personally, maybe it was a sieg heil sign... but I have to think that as white as this school is, it is entirely possible that they are considered the "white privilege" school, so maybe this was a retort to that? Or maybe at worst, it was to make all of their parents freak out?

As of yet, no official word from the school, and if a pictured student or parent has spoken to set the record straight, it has been buried in the barrage of "racist!" and "orange man bad!" post.




Ultimately, maybe they just thought it would make for a funny picture? (Which it apparently was until the NPCs got a hold of it.) Sure, in today's environment it's stupid, but nothing ruining a kids academic career over.
