I don't care about the photo.
My concern is the culture at the school.
Several students claiming derogatory statements by the kids at the schools towards all races..
*If true*, what the hell. I don't care about the white power crap, because there is always black power.. but they shouldn't be calling anyone n's, dirty mexicans, and other racial slurs without discipline.
Free speech is fine in terms of law, but doesn't mean the school has to tolerate certain derogatory actions.
So I'd like the school to investigate and act upon the racial slurs.. I don't think the police need to investigate this particular action.

Best I can tell all of those claims originated from the same Twitter; and are all highly similar. I am extremely doubtful of any of those claims.

If every single one of those kids took a picture wearing Klan robes on their own time it's their business and frick the school.
If it were black kids kissing Farrakhan's arse on their own time, same thing. None of the school's business not the police's and they need to be told to butt the hell out.
Were one of those mine I would tell them in no uncertain terms I will be seeing them in Federal Court because they have already done damage and violated my son's rights.

Would that be an appropriate retort? These 18 year olds learning that actions have consequences.. and unfortunately will learn that those consequences usually aren't fair.

Won't save them from the actual real consequences.. showing up in a google search when they go apply for a job. "Student taking school to court over Nazi Salute"...
I think we all agree that the school overstepped.. unless they have conduct related social media rules or can tie it to bullying somehow?

- The photographer will never work with school functions again in that area.
- Some of those kids will probably be denied admission to colleges of their choice or even have admissions rescinded.
- The school could take actions such as requiring an essay on the evils of Nazism in order for those kids to graduate. Or even change a class trip to a visit to the Holocaust Museum.
- Some colleges might also require that essay.
They weren't all Nazi salutes. One guy threw a White Power salute.
I wonder if his college choice will still be available to him. I wouldn't want him in my school if I worked in college admissions.
There is little doubt their parents voted for Walker and Trump.
