I’d have to see the actual proposal before making a decision but what is leaked on that list seems like a nonstarter.

100%. The terms in the OP would be an absolute failure of the US, and recognize that the US is incapable of containing Iran. China has got to be giddy. Iran is our Ukraine.
The only terms should be
-open the strait with no fees, period, forever
-give your uranium to Russia, and end enrichment. In exchange we will feed your nuclear energy reactors as necessary
-End support for any terrorist organization or foreign political party that threatens the United States, in exchange the US will open diplomatic relations and consider a pathway to ease sanctions based on Iran's behavior in the region and world stage
-US will end all hostilities.
That's the easy button. Israel can deal with their own shite.

Trump has nothing but bad options. Really bad. He did this to himself.
Prepare yourself. We will be making a deal you hate and our policy will revert to what it was.......using our vastly superior intelligence to keep very close tabs on what's happening in Iran.

Let the core of a revolutionary element within the country to get purged before we ever launched a single attack in this war.
Doing anything less than bombing Iran until morale improves or every last hardliner and their civilian support is dead is the only way Trump can win and he doesn't have the stomach that Curtis LeMay had for that kind war.
