This is your argument against me asking you why you are derailing these threads?

I promise not to derail your threads. I'm not going to police them though

Reparations is a big blanket word with no context. I could see us giving money for certain civilian targets that may have been affected. We’re not going to be giving checks to mass Iranian population or ICRG.

Iran is going to want either acknowledgment of their right to a toll system or substantial war reparations. I'd say there's no chance they think they'll get both and even less of a chance that we would consider both.

Iran can want all they want that’s not how it’s going to go. There would also be stipulations to where money isn’t being turned over to ICRG.

If we write a single check to anyone in Iran because of this war it would be an outrage. If we also allow them to continue enriching uranium, and control the strait of hormuz it would be one of the most humiliating defeats since Vietnam.

Well we're either going to cave to one of those demands, continue with the ridiculous half in/half out war, or invade.

so the "deal" is for Iran to be better off than they were before the war?

What kind of bone-head would accept this?

This is art of the deal type stuff no doubt.

Josh Norris has a history of being wrong on everything. So much so that he became a TD.com meme at one point

He is purely wishcasting because Trump terminated his hero Massie.

You have to be a pathetic individual to want the USA to lose just so you can spike the football on Trump about something.

This is a hell of a fabrication.

Such an absurd red herring. Massie winning or losing has nothing to do with the path forward in Iran. I am on record for wanting a ground invasion to ensure regime change in Iran because I think that is the best possible outcome at this point.

See my post above. Trump dug the grave I warned about before June of last year (wasn't wrong then). I want him to commit to the action that is best for America now, even if I opposed the start of that war and the start of this war.

Link?

Also nobody who voted for Trump would ever say Trump dug the grave I warned about.

I have been voting for well over 50 years.

I have never missed a voting opportunity in all that time. I have never voted for a democrat/liberal and never will. I LOVE America and everything it stands for. I trust and pray for Donald Trump and this administration constantly.

However, If he signs this agreement or any that accommodates the evil regime in Iran in any way, he will lose me forever. Nor will I vote for anyone in his administration in the future. I will never believe anything that comes out of a republican mouth again.

Objectively false. I voted for Trump 3 times and just said it

Here are some links for you

Florida baws, take a bow. We delivered a landslide!

Me from Election Night - 2016

I've got Trump champagne and wine on ice and well done Trump steaks on the beer.

We fricking got this! MAGA

Me from June of 2025

quote:

Very happy that Trump has shown a path forward for Iran.

My fear is that either Iran will continue to develop it's nuclear weapon program for offensive strikes or that Israel will assassinate Khameini and devolve the region into civil war.

If Trump is able to thread the needle and avoid these two possibilities it will be incredibly impressive use of military action and diplomacy.

I’d piss on that in the Oval Office and send it back express to Iran.

They have no right to extort tolls and they will never get reparations. I say bombing resumes by Monday.
