The Aussie govt. during COVID developed camps where those who disagreed with govt.'s policies were incarcerated, whole families locked down. Australia is running neck & neck with England's semi authoritarian govt. Both have laws where "thinking" is a hate crime.

Australia is much like the US. The inner cities are full of self hating liberals (not the liberal party if Austalia which is acutal right leaning). Once you get outside of the major cities, everyone is much more conservative.

Not only do they have gold, oil, lithium and uranium. They've got the largest deposits of opal on earth as well, for those who appreciate beautiful minerals. And their people in general are just cool as hell.
I want Australia to be ride-or-die with us again. Australia, Japan and the US all used to be tight AF. I really miss that.
