Track meet in Frisco, TX (affluent suburb north of Dallas)
As typical, schools erect tents for their teams to leave personal belongings, etc.
Karmelo (black kid) takes a seat in a tent that wasn't his school's. He is asked to leave by Austin (white kid), Karmelo threatens in reply (you can look up his exact words).
Austin approaches Karmelo and Karmelo stabs him in the heart. Austin dies.
Austin's dad shortly thereafter remarks that he forgives his son's murderer.
Karmelo is charged with murder but is out on bond because a black, female judge reduced his bond.
Karmelo's family is making bank on the deal - expensive house, Escalade.
Lang fellow calls out Austin's dad for (listen to the clip in the OP).
Ironic that the dad is more upset with Lang than his son's killer.

I'm on the Metcalf side, and I'm pretty disgusted by the support rallying behind this killer before all the facts are laid bare. Its obvious racism.
That being said, if my son had died in this way, I wouldnt want this guy who I dont know using my child's death snd putting his picture up on his website to help advance his narrative/mission/cause/whatever without my blessing. The audacity of that guy to call the dad weak when he's going through so much. frick him just as much as the other side.

White people need to take the high road with this kind of stuff and need to lead by example. It's not like blacks are damaging whites more than other blacks. Let the blacks point the finger and blame race, just ignore their noise.
I think a lot of black observers in this case are embarrassed b/c it highlights how violent a young black male can over-react to conflict. If the victim was a black kid, this wouldn't even be a story. They hope Carmello had a good reason to use a knife b/c it looks terrible for them if he didn't. If you read articles comments on any black violence story, blacks are angry, ashamed, embarrassed some of their people resort to violence to resolve simple conflict so often.
People keep talking about the new house and escalade and I'd like to know the source and reasoning behind that. If this was money that was donated to them to do what they wanted, it's amazing how poorly they appear to be investing it; renting a mansion of which eventually they'll run out of money for it and have no equity in it, and buying a brand new expensive vehicle that'll lose half it's value in 2 years. When they end up going back to their original lifestyle in a few years that'll be a bad look for all of them but will highlight for everyone how dumb they were with money
